    Pros

    27 PTO, 8% 401k match and good location (next to Union Station). Relatively good hours.

    Cons

    Competitive workplace. French are more likely to be promoted.

    Gain advantage by offering salaries competitive to the street. 4 years with no bonuses.

    the economic situation poses a lot of obstacles for the development especially the European Crisis and the slowdown of Chinese economy.

    Lot to learn because of their presence in multiple business lines

    Treated fairly with respect and able to have good work life balance. Mobility is not considered a negative by management.

    Cons

    There are times when you can be overlooked because your are not French. Sometimes there are two sets of rules. The french rules and rules for everyone else.

    The business in NY is going through a great transformation. New building provides a good, modern environment. Compared with other banks in NY, SG seems to be on a positive trend.

    Delegation could be handled better-

    People are very nice in the company. It's challenging but relaxing working atmosphere

    Cons

    Language. more than 80% people can speak French. If you don't speak French, you'll feel isolated somehow...
