    I worked at Sodexo

    Pros

Very nice people, always wanting to make positive changes (although often results in unnecessary or ineffective projects created just to cross t's and dot i's), good benefits, hours reasonable, celebrate small successes of individual and recognize when good work is done.

    Cons

Very standardized processes for reviews that don't fit Dietitians very well (better for other types of management staff). Heavy handed with goal setting - right down to a lot of little projects that don't truly support professional development.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Less "projects based off of goals" and simplified review process that is more tailored to roles of dietitians.

I have been working at Sodexo

    Pros

Working for Sodexo was great. The manager was nice, free food, and great pay. I didn't even have to interview, just fill out the application questionnaire and depending on your answers you got the job.

    Cons

The customers sometimes can be annoying

I have been working at Sodexo full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Co-workers and management are all really nice people. They provide a lot of training opportunities. Because Sodexo is so large, employees have a lot of options as far as career change and/or unit change. They also have quite a few jobs that they will pay for your relocation.

    Cons

If you are a manager the hours are very long. Many times I feel my job has become my life. Not unusual to work 12-15 hours a day multiple times a week. Annual salary increases are given but very small percentages. Biggest I've gotten in 4+ years is 3% which is the standard cost of living.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make time for the employees that are at the mid range in management. Stop sucking up to clients all the time and acknowledge your employees who are bending over backwards to meet the client unreasonable expectations.

great pay, great benefits and plenty of work.

    Cons

    Pros

Flexible shifts and people are usually available to cover if you cannot work. Many opportunities to move around and try different positions. If you ask to get trained for something they don't mind training you.

    Cons

Nothing really bad about this place. Sometimes not enough hours during the summer when people come back from school. Can always pick up shifts if you really try hard to find them.

    Approves of CEO
