I have been working at Soliant Health as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

Great Pay and bonuses. They acknowledge Nurses Week and the simple things that typical employers overlook. My rep was always accessible. I would like to come back when opportunity arises.

    Cons

There are not a lot of positions for LPN.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be nice to meet & greet my rep face to face (for locals). I know her voice but have no idea what she looks like.

I worked at Soliant Health full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I had a great experience working at Soliant, I enjoyed working with the people and I enjoyed the work.

    Cons

I feel like I was given too much work to get promoted to position that I was hired for initially. I wanted to grow with the company and I felt like the company had a hidden agenda.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Honesty is always the best policy. I felt like I got used and then discarded. I know its just business, but I took it personally because I had worked so hard and then dismissed like I didn't matter.

    Great culture but fast-paced environment

I worked at Soliant Health full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The culture is often a reason why people stay. The organizational structure is very flat for a growing company with great people in great location. The culture is highly relational with approachable management and open communication.

    Cons

Training for new hires is one of Soliant's greatest challenges due to it's fast-paced environment. If you are not an assertive person when trying to learn from others, the first several months may be very difficult.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

As the company goes through its growing pains, it will be important to pay attention to small details; and continue to foster a culture where feedback is welcomed.

  6.

It is a very fast-paced position with a lot of opportunity to learn, but there is a lot of sales pressure.

    I worked at Soliant Health

    Pros

Lots of training initially, followed by a lot of freedom with higher management readily available to step in when needed. Additionally, the people are incredibly friendly there and enthusiastic for the most part.

    Cons

They have set expectations sales wise. If they are not met, then you are gone. Other disadvantages depend on which 'team' you get placed in. The success that what you'll be doing each day really depends on which group your hired into (Schools, Locums, Nursing, Medical Coding, etc.). Likewise, there are various 'pods' within each group, and if your group is successful, then you are too. It helps to be in the know, if that makes sense.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The Leadership is good - they are encouraging and available. When you are first hired, they take a lot of time to train you, but the expectancy is that once you are trained, that you must hit the ground running and make a lot of deals very quickly. It's sink are swim.

I have been working at Soliant Health

    Pros

Soliant is a culture that can not be re-created. The top level management are not only seasoned business professionals, but in my opinion, good people. I hold a similar respect for my colleagues and enjoy the atmosphere. Soliant has developed me into a successful working professional. Through guidance/training, I have developed a confidence to run my desk. I feel empowered, educated, and excited about working here!

    Cons

Sometimes the music is horrific, but life goes on. It is definitely a sales position, and there are expectations for you to reach in order to keep your seat. This can be scary for a new recruiter, but also drive you to success.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think management is wonderful at Soliant! It is important for them to put more communication in with the desk level employees. We recently had a training on candor, and I think we could see that in action a little more.

I have been working at Soliant Health

    Pros

Pros of working for Soliant. The working atmosphere is good. There is a good synergy with coworkers. There is a big push for a good working team environment. Ample new hire training and continuing training. This is definitely a place where if you work hard and do a good job and achieve your goals you will be compensated accordingly. If you slack off you will not make it here. It is nice to see that those who work hard are recognized and compensated accordingly.

    Cons

There appears to be a high rate of turnover here, but I would imagine that is common in this line of work. If you are not a good recruiter you are not going to make it. Some people are just not cut out for this field. Definitely a cubicle environment here. Some competition between coworkers and other office locations can be frustrating.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better communication when you are out of the office or on vacation would be appreciated. Clearer communication of certain company policies/rules may help resolve some minor and petty issues that can disrupt the work flow/environment.

I have been working at Soliant Health

    Pros

One of my favorite things about Soliant Health is the President, David Alexander. He is such an enigmatic speaker and a natural leader. Our company provides lots of training which is truly special when delivered by Mr. Alexander. He is joined by a few other managers who also have the capacity to motivate and support. The company's involvement in community service is great and we generally have a positive vibe among the individual teams. My manager has always been supportive of my growth and personal success and is very available when needed. I have never had any problem requesting time off, and my manager's expectations have always been clear. There is also a very good variety of personality types and backgrounds within the company, so there are few dull moments.

    Cons

One negative aspect within the organization is the lack of communication regarding employees who leave the company. Occasionally the workload can seem overwhelming, but overall the people who are here work hard and have the will to become successful through the metrics provided by the management team.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would love to see even more training conducted by the President. His enthusiasm is infectious, and his candor is refreshing. I also think that during weekly company meetings the management team should address any recent changes in the internal staff, such as a brief explanation of why an employee may have left the organization. Since the office is relatively spaced out, it would help folks on either end of the office feel informed about the staff overall.

    I worked at Soliant Health

    Pros

Overall, it's a very good company. I loved my immediate boss and the president of the company seemed genuine and approachable. It was my first job out of college and the atmosphere was perfect for me. They trained me for several weeks before I worked on the desk and they were willing to help me out to make sure I hit my numbers. I worked with some of my closest friends at Soliant because most of the employees were referred by other employees.

    Cons

Limited room for growth. The only reason I left was because I wanted to move up within the company, but there wasn't anywhere to go. They have the managers and the account executives and nothing inbetween. Most of the management has been with the company for a long time and they have no plans of leaving to allow any promotions of staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look for better ways to provide growth potential for your employees. It's sad that good employees have to leave the company in order to take their career further.

I have been working at Soliant Health

    Pros

    Great management team
    Flexible with time off
    Very understanding about personnel life
Energetic co workers and nice team environment
    Fun people

    Cons

    Not much room for advancement
Should have some flexibility with the work hours especially when you have been successful
It would be nice to get a bonus when you receive your shovel.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need some way of balancing the pay structure. It is not very consistent with the schools calendar/work calendar. The base pay should be higher, especially during the summer months.
