    The company is good to work for because it helps you to learn slit about business and how to analyze your goals and numbers

    Cons

    If the store isnt making anymoney. The company blames it on the employees. Thry forget that product could be an issue, matketting could be an issue and weather could be an issue

    Pros

    Average Pay, nice bonuses if you get them, and good discounts on sunglasses

    Cons

    Always short staffed, unrealistic long term goals and selling goals, upper management constantly trying to get rid of people for the most minuet mistakes, the DMs lack of respect, rampant favoritism and disrespect to management and staff. No sense of team work or team building. Overall the company doesn't value their employees views or opinions

    My best advice when you see droves of people quitting take a hint.

    Pros

    The company offered a great selection of sunglasses.

    Cons

    The company lacked many business ethics including, laying a team oriented foundation; training staff on product knowledge, brand awareness, professional etiquette; and, the focus to customer service, customer retention and client relations. In many occasions, I had to contact customers to apologize for the 'teams' behavior and their insulting comments and/or actions. The management did not provide enough training to distinguishing price vs. value and most importantly, the 'team' lacked to work together.

    You must ameliorate these issues to to win the satisfactory of both, employees and customers.

    Sundays Off, Not much operational stuff to do

    Cons

    They don't have Assistant Managers on the full price stores. They are always short of employees. Corporate never gets back to you.

    Pros

    Discount was good, but probably take that away soon.

    Cons

    Upper management is known to threaten numerous managers jobs on a daily basis. There is no trust within the upper to lower management, and recently it's getting worse for everyone. As a Store Manager there was no support from your District, and Regional Manager, and if you like to give your opinion.....no no no if you speak up than you'll get fired! To be honest this was such a great company when I first started, but the company literally fired every single manager that was there for over 5 years for no reason, and without sympathy or a blink of an eye....that tells you a lot about how much they care about there employees.

    The discount employees get off sunglasses.

    Cons

    Everything, but the discount. I would NEVER work there again!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Take a good look at yourself, and ask yourself, would I want to be treated like I don't matter? Taking Care of Your Employees is Essential. Poor leadership practices or challenging workplace cultures will be pushing good employees out the door! Your best and most productive employees will invariably feel well cared for – respected, rewarded and secure.

    Pros

    A) Discount was good.
    B) My store manager was awesome and gave off the time we needed.
    C) Always had fun while at work.

    Cons

    As far as my store goes I can't really say there were any cons of working there but the corporate people were very distant about anything that u ever asked them. If the store doesn't make enough money in the year they will close on you without any warning. I was recruited by them and went through 2 weeks of crap for my interviews and getting employee numbers just to be shut down in my 30th day of working and no compensation afterwords. Yesterday was payday and here I am still no check. That's real professional and then when I call to ask where my check is they just give me the runaround that it should be there soon. I dont think they understand that other people have bills to pay too.

    Why don't you tell people that your planning to shut stores down so you don't just conpletely screw them. Come to find out when I talked to the mall manager he said they have been planning this since last year.
