    Pros

Great work /life balance. Nice office with a terrific sunset view of the pacific.

    Cons

It is too late to rip out the legacy stuff while the paying membership is already on the decline for this long; on top of what the whole business is just on the niche fragmented markets. All these free mobile dating apps are doing much better. It is very hard to rip out your legacy tech debt and grow your paying subscribers from this depressed level with these type of features.

    Advice to Management

You can't run this company like this and call it agile. Result speaks for itself. People are so out of touch. It is now honestly too late. With our financials, really unsure if an acquisition is even possible.

    Pros

Its ok if you are just starting out as entry level, people do start out someplace and it may as well be here. getting experience anywhere is the key, than move on from spark for more money. so its a great stepping stone to something better paying and more professional.

    Cons

Rigid back end framework and it dept that refuses to innovate. mobile experience is wack. good ideas are stalled or stolen by people with no talent. Work weekends on projects nobody cares about. no mentorship or employee development. projects managed by incompetant progect managers. micromanagement by unprofessional supervisors. talented non brown nosers eventually leave.

    Advice to Management

For most, None because you cant fix stupid. for the rest, get out.

    Pros

Creative department and front end team is awesome

    Cons

Everyone is always afraid to get laid off. They do lay offs quite frequently. Poor management. Especially the mobile project management, that lady is bonkers and is constantly asking upper mgmt to fire people so that it doesn't look like the failures are all her fault. Their mobile product is a joke. No incentives. Not friendly. They won't look you in the eye. No one says "hi" when you pass in the hallway. It's a real drudgery.

QA manager throws his team under the bus to save his skin.

Beware of this company. They are about to go under.

    Pros

My co-workers were like family. The core ppl than ran the company and taled to the customers have a great relationship and respect for each other.

    Cons

The adminstration is horrible. The way the company isr an is terrible. Senior management givigng themselves stock options. Laying off employees who have been there must long than they have. It clearly is a place ran with greed.

    Advice to Management

Quit being greedy with a company that you had nothing to do with success of. Quit laying off people that have worked there for years. People that built this company. Stop giving executive gradious stock options.
