    Pros

Benefits are very good been with Sprint many years. Winning in the industry with current promotional offers to customers being very attractive.

    Cons

Not really a con but employees must be adaptable to frequent changes in promotional offers as Sprint reacts to the ever changing market.

I have been working at Sprint full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

We were able to have a pretty flexible schedule because the work hours are so spread out. Most stores are franchise owned so the work environment will vary greatly from location to location.

    Cons

Be ready for change because there's a lot of it. Compensation can vary wildly from year to year as Sprint changes how it compensates your franchise owner and if your franchise owner decides to revamp their compensation structure. Never expect it to stay longer than 6 months at a time before being changed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More cross communication between different branches would help alleviate customer frustration. For example, retail reps often find themselves trying to correct errors of customer service agents. Customer service agents find themselves with customers being promised resolutions that they cannot provide.

Great place and people when I started, but the strain of bad business decisions has dealt a near fatal blow.

I have been working at Sprint full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    1. Work-life balance at Sprint has always been good and my compensation for my job is great for KC, but…
    2. The projects I worked on when I first started were on the leading edge of consumer-facing technology, but…

    Cons

    1. …raises are paltry and lay-offs are an annual tradition (though many are hoping for them just to get the severance package).
    2. …the business is facing major changes in Telecom. The network is the primary piece of value and all of the side profits (e.g. ringtones, walled-garden content) is drying up. The company is left putting ads on everything to retain revenue.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Find a time machine and go back and oust Gary Forsee before he tries to merge two incompatible networks. Then choose LTE rather than wasting energy on Wi-Max.

Seriously though, management needs to take a hard look at where they are having employees spend their time. Focusing on the network and core services would be a good thing. Stop wasting time on music, video and other entertainment content, you are not going to compete with Apple, Google, Amazon, etc.
