I worked at Sprouts Farmers Market as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

I'll list the pros in bullet format: - Friendly people, very nice/brand new office in North Phoenix - Lots of free goodies from the vendors that frequent the office - Open door policy, very friendly CEO - 15% discount on all grocery purchases at Sprouts' stores

    Cons

There was only one major con: I worked there as an intern for a full year. The pay was $10 and hour, so ok for a college student intern, but that was the only real major con.

    Advice to Management

None really, I wish interns were paid more, but I understand why the process is the way it is.

I have been working at Sprouts Farmers Market part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I got 40 hours a week off the bat. I'm a cashier and I make $9/hour which is pretty good considering how easy it is. The management is very kind to me and is always willing to help me out or answer any questions I have. It was really easy to get this job and the application/interview process went by very quickly. I LOVE the employee discount! I get all of my groceries with an amazing percent off.

    Cons

There is a lot of standing. My body is always extremely sore after a long shift. I don't ever know my schedule until the first day of the week.

    Advice to Management

Complete schedules sooner and provide opportunities to rest your feet every half hour or so.

I have been working at Sprouts Farmers Market full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Laid-back dress-code. Very fair attendance policy. Good discount and benefits (50% 401K match is rare these days.) Other employees are nice and do a good job overall.

    Cons

Work can get monotonous. Many customers seem overly entitled and condescending. A year before a raise is considered seems a little long.

    Advice to Management

Don't over-hire and then cut hours. Make sure employees are being polite and saying the right things consistently so that the brand stays sharp.
