I have been working at State Farm full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Great Pay and Benefits. He listens to our input and makes changes in the office work distribution to balance business goals and our personal strengths. I receive compensation (bonuses) for my sales and receive raises when I reach my individual goals. He is fair and kind to all of his employees. Wonderful to work in his office. The environment, training and ability to set my own salary works for me!
Cons – Hours can vary during extreme weather conditions. He likes us to be available to talk to customers about storm damage instead of letting them go to the call center. Customers love it! It does not happen often and I would never leave this office!
Advice to Senior Management – None. Keep listening to your employees.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at State Farm full-time
Pros – Upfront about the details of the position- provided me with a written summary of the job description before the interview. Friendly, welcoming, very professional staff. The culture of State Farm's philosophy and beliefs have been apparent in all interactions with them. They provided me with details of the position that I wasn't expecting- salary, bonuses, incentives, pension, etc. State Farm subsidizes public transportation. Possibility of having flexibility in work hours. Opportunity for advancement.
Cons – Location of this office is downtown- Parking is expensive. Condition of employment to relocate to Seattle. Transferring to another State Farm location was a possibility, but not advised.

I have been working at State Farm full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Work life balance is amazing. All management is friendly and always happy to talk. I enjoy the work I'm doing and can see how it relates to the whole very easily
Cons – Bloomington is not really the greatest community for the arts
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to people. Not through surveys, but really really listen to them. However, I am very happy with the accessibility of the upper levels of management. Not a week goes by that we don't have some opporutinty to give feedback to the VPs and that is definitely a good thing
