    Pros

Good people & friendly culture. Relatively quick to make decisions and somewhat empowered compared to other large US firms that I've worked for. I enjoyed my time at State Street.

    Cons

Very silo'd. State Street Global Services are effectively an Investor Services Provider. Buyside clients normally buy a bundle of services. The sales process is integrated, but that actual operations are fragmented across UK and EMEA region. They quote "advantage" as a sales pitch (being an integrated provider), but when it comes down to it, there are multiple ops managers and client service teams trying to service your account. Key timelines also do not show the benefit of an integrated solution. Why so many MD's and SVPs in Global Services?

    Advice to Management

    Please read cons.
