    Pros

Top talent, great people to work with. Lots of opportunity to do many different things with a great support network.

    Cons

Culture is conservative and a bit risk adverse, becoming more hierarchical and top down as it focuses on being a global player and its core customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't forget to listen to employees and pay attention to the talent leaving the company and why they are leaving.

I have been working at Steelcase full-time

    Pros

Steelcase provides people with opportunities that go beyond job titles. It's big enough to offer a variety places to learn and grow in your career. In addition, the culture is all about the people. Someone described it as a culture of We, not Me and I think that sums it up.

    Cons

Because the organization is so big, often times strategies are housed in multiple groups with little communication that funnels down to the employee level. This makes the job of alignment and continuity with our sales and customers difficult because in many cases they are told multiple stories on the same message with different variations.
