I worked at Stratasys full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Exciting, growing company. Great salary and benefits.

    Cons

Had layoff because of purchase of another company. Didn't they do enough research to be sure company being purchased was solid? Need better training of various processes in different areas for employees needing to use them.

    Advice to Management

Hire people who can assure ability of other companies that may be purchased. Concentrate on company as it is now to be productive and cost efficient before taking on new concepts. Slow down and work on succeeding with what you need to accomplish before taking on more.

    Pros

This is an amazing industry and incredible technology. Growth is still good.

    Cons

Management has over projected earnings, sending stock into a tumble. This trickles down and hurts all employees within the company. Poor communication and awful job providing on time, transparent payment for variable comp pay.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring so heavily up top and fill the key customer facing roles to keep the customer base happy.

    Cons

Lot of new managers that don't know the machines design but taking decision that can affect on the production ability and serviceability.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

The company rewards it's employees for meeting their individual goals and in addition offers medical benefits and a 401k plan.

    Cons

Stratasys does not look for ways to include employees when changing company direction. Instead, they simply throw people that have worked for the company (some 10 years or more) but do not fit into their new business model under the bus!

    Advice to Management

I find this type of management very unsettling. It would certainly give me pause before I took a job with the company. Even when you surpass your goals you are still subject to loosing your job if management decides to try something new.
