I have been working at Stryker full-time

    Pros

Generally good culture, people are valued. Opportunities to move across functional groups and divisions. Certainly done well as one of the top growth companies over the last 30 years.

    Cons

IT shakeup is causing turmoil, significant turnover. Company struggles with enterprise decisions and direction now that it has reached a large size - still thinks as a small company at times. All in all, though, a good choice.

    Pros

Great people, great products, great pay and commission structure, great culture

    Cons

Like any highly competitive sales position, stress is inevitable. The constant demand to grow grow grow your territory can ware on you. Better produce and hit your numbers or it will be time for you to move on.

    Advice to Management

Take care of the "little guys" in your company. For example, endo techs and associate reps put in long days and take on a ton of responsibility. These people have the goal of growing with your company. They wont stick around long when they are living pay check to pay check.

I have been working at Stryker (Less than a year)

    Pros

The HR intern is provided with meaningful projects that they are able to implement all the way though. The summer housing options are great, and the employees are driven and always willing to help. The internship allows you to learn a lot about the field you are in. You also have the opportunity to hear from senior leadership and different departments within your division. You learn a lot about the culture available at Stryker and how they focus on harnessing employees' strengths.

    Cons

There is limited headcount at some locations, so an offer may not be available immediately after the internship is complete. However, this does not happen everywhere, so it is not a major concern.

If you like being busy every second of every day this company is good choice. High achiever environment!

    Cons

Culture can ffeel closed to new ideas and suggestions if not their way which is frustrating cuz former experience isn't really valued.

    Advice to Management

Please upgrade systems and other technologies so that manual processes become automated.
