    Alright for a Student Job

    Sandwich Artist (Former Employee)
    Schenectady, NY

ProsJob is pretty straightforward, flexible hours. Most co-workers were nice as well.

ConsPretty poor management, especially with my training. The owner of the local franchise had cameras/mics everywhere and watched us frequently, which felt uncomfortable.

Advice to Senior ManagementMake sure your training is actually consistent! I was told to change certain details of how I did things frequently, it was never consistent.

    Subway Sandwich Artist (Former Employee)
    Hendersonville, NC

ProsGood lunch benefits. Respectable customers. Good in school job.

ConsHierchy issues and changes in ownership of individual stores.

Advice to Senior ManagementCheck on your stores in person more often in small towns. The camera's just make us laugh.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Acceptable but could be much better

    Subway Sandwich Artist (Current Employee)
    Lynbrook, NY

ProsFlexible schedule and human and understand that youre a person who has their own problems too and have to deal with them sometimes

ConsPay is just minimum wage so nothing special and theres very little to no mobility from being a sandwich artist and theres a lot of cheating and gross health factors

Advice to Senior ManagementBetter compensation for the amount of work done

    Good first job experience

    Sandwich Artist (Current Employee)
    Tucson, AZ

Pros- 50% off (only for you on the days you work)
    - Friendly staff
    - Flexible schedules

Cons- Hours are NOT dependable. You can work 23 hours one week then 4 hours the next week.
    - Coworkers are lazy and slack off leaving you to do all the work.
    - Management MAKES you change the dates on expired product so they save money.
    - Raises occur annually from the date hired, so expect low pay.

Advice to Senior Management- Get rid of the huge blind spots in the back of store so employees can't slack off.
    - Please throw away expired product instead of change the date, its nasty.
    - Reward hard workers more often.
