Minimum wage, general labor type work that is fun, having the chance to interact with customers makes it O.K.

I have been working at Subway

    Pros

Being able to interact with customers, good supervisors.

    Cons

Low-wage, no benefits, not really any room for promotion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Perhaps look into raising pay more often than $0.50 per 2 years of dedicated, loyal service.

    I worked at Subway

    I worked at Subway

I worked at Subway part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Training is fast and easy. Anyone can do the work. Good for a first time job. Get a discount on food and free drinks whenever you want.

    Cons

Most of the people working with me spoke Spanish so communication was hard. People can get very picky about their sandwiches, which makes working much less enjoyable

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider checking up on store managers more frequently to ensure fair scheduling. Try to eliminate the idea of senority between individuals that share the same position

I have been working at Subway

    Pros

You were given a free 6 inch sub, two cookies, and a bag of chips each shift you worked. The work was simple and easy for the most part, but could get a little challenging, especially when dealing with rude customers.

    Cons

Some managers seemed like they did not know what they were doing. A couple of fellow co-workers acted like they did not want to be there and seemed to not know how to smile. The hourly pay was not very good and you have little to no room for advancement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have more promotions! There are people who try their very best to help the company by being the best employees they can be. Show your appreciation!

I worked at Subway part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Good place to work while in school

    Cons

    Is a fast food joint.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It was a good place to work overall. The main problem I remember having was that our cooler would break down frequently. The pizzas should be marketed better as many people don't know how good they are or that Subway even sells them.

    I worked at Subway

    Pros

The great customers and the job itself was easy and fun.

    Cons

The district manager was also the store manager of the location and I always worked hard, with great customer service. She nitpicked and turned employees against each other then leave.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get a grip of all the nonsense going on in the stores. I'm a great, hard worker and I don't understand why you got rid of a hard worker.
