    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Sundance Resort full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some of the best people I have ever worked with.

    Cons

Micro-management is pervasive from the top down. Management does not seem to value employees.

  2. I think Sundance has potential to be a great place to work but employees are not treated with enough respect.

upper management is a big con, the way things are run is unfortunate.

    Advice to Management

treat employees how you would like to be treated. Be fair in your judgments, better compensation for well done job

    Pros

Sundance gives the opportunity to reach new positions. Team is usually friendly and willing to help; good relationship within departments. Beautiful place to work; the view, mountains, and nature. Started with good benefits.

    Cons

Benefits were cut over time. Pay rates raises for employees were frozen for numerous years. Need a reliable car during winter and if avalanches occurr be prepared to spend at least a couple of hours in your time over there. Employees are asked to work with minimum resources, as many of tools are not provided due to budget concerns.
