ProsGreat health benefits, great reimbursements, amazing co-workers, job is easy if you work hard, and put in a solid 40+ hours a week.

ConsI know no sales job has zero stress but man, they micro manage everything here. If something doesn't work right away, they completely change the strategy, and continue too until they realize they should've just stuck with the first plan of attack.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop letting go of good sales people, there is a high turn around there. It doesn't have to be like that. They rely too much on $$$ from the phone book. Get over it and just focus on the web products. Also stop using vendors for web products, that's how we lost 90% of our clients because people in India and Bangladesh screwed up fulfillment on our products. Bring in in house

So Far, So Solid

I have been working at Supermedia full-time for less than a year

ProsPaid two month training, fair & fast expense reimbursement, low cost health insurance, flexibility. So far, I am very happy I took this position. My managers, both in training and in my home office, have been very nice, helpful & fair. Each office is different ... so maybe I just got lucky, since I know others not as happy.

ConsProducts not the best quality, MC's end up doing more than their share in fulfillment, poor follow up on the back end, as company moves more toward digital it faces stiffer competition, systems-paperwork overload.

Advice to Senior ManagementCreate higher end products, websites are the McD's of websites aimed at lowest common denominator.

ProsInclusive staff, they were all excited to work with me and loop me into the group. Learned a lot.

ConsVery cut throat environment among the sales people. Some tried to use me to spy on what others were doing. While others thought I was spying for the boss.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep up the intern program, especially the tight knit group training for the first week.
