It was a good full time position with benefits, and availability to move within the company.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Windsor, ON (Canada)

ProsSutherland offers a pretty decent benefit package after 3 months of employment. You get pull time hours with the option of overtime when available. They were able to work with me while I was still attending school, and I was able to land a position that related to my school shortly after graduating.

ConsYou get paid minimum wage to start, and even when you move within the company they don't increase the pay by much. It can get a little stressful being on calls especially when they are trying to implement new programs.

Advice to Senior ManagementThey need to pay more attention to their employees who are doing their jobs properly rather than the ones who are not.

    I learned a lot.

Senior Associate (Current Employee) Taguig (Philippines)

ProsFor fresh grads, this company is good for you. You can learn a lot of things to your advantage.
For current employee like me, well, I liked the people and the environment. People are really humble.

ConsCompensation- there was a time when new hires were offered a huge basic pay. But most of them are talent-less. (not being judgmental here - I experienced teaching and training some of them and you will wonder how come they passed the recruitment process and their basic is high compared to others)

Tenured teammates never felt being valued. The company don't value tenured teammates.

Salary disputes - every pay day, salary disputes are very common thing to happen.

Talented teammates - they let talented/tenured teammates go in replace of new and talent-less employees.

Promotion - very hard to get promoted. Sometimes, you will be on an acting capacity for a year then you will need to pass the Behavioral Exam and Lead Training before you get the official promotion and increase. So during that one year? You earn the same amount or even less than what a regular teammate is earning.

Christmas party? Not consistent. Sometimes we have. Sometimes we don't. Christmas gift? How about the BONUS branded goodies from SM?

Management - The good management has long gone when they were replaced.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't let good and talented people go. Would you rather hire a call center hopper then worry about attrition when you can keep tenured performers and meet the client targets?. All you need to do is value your loyal employees.
