    Pros

I like that they recognize and reward hard work even in the most simple of gestures, makes one feel appreciated. My team is wonderful and fun to work with too. I love that there are options for Overtime so if you need to make a little more you can.

    Cons

The mundane is too much. Once you get the hang of the job, not many challenges to advance your skills. I like feeling like I'm growing and developing new skills but being here sometimes is just same old stuff.

    Advice to Management

Create more growth opportunities for the hungry souls

    Pros

Great benefits. Bonus capabilities. Friendly employed and good support from upper management. Salaries are comparable to other facilities in the region

    Cons

Front line staffing could use some additional bedside nurses.. Financially focused, but reasonable for a health care company. Not enough front line staff

    Advice to Management

    Hire qualified middle management

    Pros

Great benefits, advancement opportunities, friendly co-workers. Most of upper management is great to work with and very approachable. PTO, some overtime available and paid holidays. On the job training.

    Cons

It depends on what department you are on/who's team you are on. Some managers are not easy to work with while others are excellent to work with. But you pretty much get that anywhere you work.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work on motivating your employees! Make sure there is no hypocrisy/favoritism. Again, it's not like that with every employee but it does happen.

    Pros

    flexible work from home days

    Cons

no training; poorly/untrained supervisory staff; no lateral movement

    Advice to Management

teach your supervisors how to lead, manage, and deal with poor workers. Allow us to get some training for growth or future team transfer and job enhancement, not all working supervisors actually work.

    Pros

Sutter Medical Foundation is a great company that prides itself in putting quality patient care first. The benifits are great.

    Cons

Although the pay is good, I think it could be more competitive with other Health Care companies in the market. Employees are expected to work outside of their scope of practice and take on more responsibility without more pay.

    Pros

Excellent opportunities for transfer to other positions and affiliates.

    Cons

Middle management across the board are often disconnected from clinical staff/clinical needs in terms of morale and support for workers as they are too caught up in administrative red tape.

    Pros

Flexible work schedule and decent access to care.

    Cons

Only provide $1000 education allowance each year.

    Advice to Management

Allow employees to promote within faster so they feel like they have a career and not a job.

    Pros

Great benefits, great opportunities to advance your career, great education department and classes offered. The pay is competitive and there is accrued paid time off.

    Cons

It is a large company and the human resources department and payroll are all based out of Sacramento so it is a pain to deal with.

    Advice to Management

Recognition is rare, I think it would go a long way for employees to receive recognition they deserve.
