    Pros

    Not many pros except this : Your co-workers (not management) are really bright, helpful, and easy to work with.

    Cons

    As others have said, Synchronoss still has a start-up mentality which translates into long days as the norrn -- Usually14-18 hours. Off-shore resources frequently put in 18-20 hour days for weeks at a time. The company tends to operate in crisis mode all the time, which isn't a sustainable work model. Highly restrictive NDA, terrible health insurance and stingy PTO policy. As my review title says it's sink or swim for new employees. They are thrown in about day 3 with no help. information or direction and left to fail or succeed on their own. If you don't know anything, you don't even know what questions to ask. Depending on your location or project, management is either only OK or back-stabbing weasels. The company prides itself on not recognizing time zones but doing everything in real time. This means 4:30-5 am calls for the West Coasters, and very late or middle of the night calls for the East Coast people to deal with off shore staff or clients. Layoffs at the end of a project or the quarter are common. The company describes itself as being a completely unstructured environment, which really just means it's all chaos. I have no idea why I'm still here.

    Advice to Management

    Time zones exist, look into it. Middle of the night calls are not normal. 14-18 hours days, every day for weeks and weeks is not normal. No company can operate successfully in continuous crisis mode. Stop pretending that you are a Cloud/ Software solutions consulting company when you are really just offering SaaS (software development).

    Pros

    Management is to focused on short term quarterly numbers and not long term growth of company

    Cons

    do not think like business owners to process oriented

    Advice to Management

    grow with new customers not through acquisitions

    Pros

    Mouthshut.. company has only 1 strategy.. goose the palms. works most of the time

    Cons

    has no product.. built on acquisitions.. a worldcom in the making..

    stop being jack of all trades and master of none

    Pros

    There really isn't much I can say. In the beginning it wasn't so bad but when they bought out out company every good thing about the company was gone.

    Cons

    Bad health insurance. It would be cheaper to just buy it on your own. They ship their jobs to India so your job is always up in the air. They have no concept of employee appreciation or development.

    Advice to Management

    Know that your employees are you assets and that they are the ones to help you succeed. Make the NDA less restrictive because it bars employees from ever working in the field again. Not just your competitors

    Pros

    Family relatives filled in company
    Job Safety
    Its like home
    Only cultural activities all time

    Cons

    No Career growth
    Bond for freshers
    No work recognition
    No formal process
    Employees are not strong technically
    Management and HR wont respond for your queries soon.
    No Onsite opportunities
    Very Very less Sal
    No other benefits
    Will treat employees like slaves
    Use bad words for employess

    Advice to Management

    Manager is like dummy fellow he don't know any technical things can't do anything but will show off like he is CEO will be scolding everyday for all employees using bad words in front of everyone and he will support only Team leads who will keep bucket to him and girls, also all team leads are very dumb fellows in qa team they are technically not strong will fear for Manager and keep bucket for him so that they are safe.

    Management and HR wont respond for your queries soon.

    If you join you will become dumb guy it will difficult to get job when you want to change in future

    Manager,team leads and management in India should be changed then improvement is possible
    Employees should be given work recognition and good salary.

    Pros

    To be frank there are no pros..

    Cons

    Salary is less, growth is low and management in India is worst..
    And they treat freshers like slaves signing bond and low salary even less than construction workers.

    Act like professionals.!!

    Pros

    1. Flexible timings.

    Dont see any other Pros than this.

    Cons

    First things first. Avoid joining in SYNCHRONOSS INDIA even when you dont have a job.

    1. ZERO recognition for hard work. Instead of hard work, try to be a manager's pet. This skill takes you to top within no time.
    2. Managers dont have enough skills and guts to manage a team. Pity that synchronoss India is driven by these managers.
    3. Hikes, dont even dream about it if you cant butter your manager.
    4. Zero learning curve and career growth as you dont see any innovative things here.

    Advice to Management

    Save India center. Review employees performance based on his/her real contribution to Project but not towards buttering. India management will never change, someone from US center (NON INDIAN) should come and take over things. Review Managers performance and their contribution. This shows you in what way the company is heading towards.

    Pros

    The company has the potential to exploit its impressive client list and grow exponentially.

    Cons

    The company is rightfully diversifying with technology offerings, but the longtime leadership struggles with managing and scaling those new offering effectively. The executive team and management are not on the same page, which had led to departments running independently and often in-spite of each other.

    Advice to Management

    The existing executive team has served the business well, but the board needs to look to the future. The executive team needs to be replaced with one that can lead a growing technology company.

    Pros

    1) Flexi time
    2) Exposure to new technologies

    Cons

    There are many can't list all

    1) HR, Admin, Finance not at all organised. Salary slip, Form 16 prepared by laymans don't trust them you got to cross check it every salary it gets credited.
    2) Managers are partial based on which language you speak or region you belong to.
    3) Promotions only if you butter you manager and belong to a particular region.
    4) Hardwork never pays, appraisals are name sake every one gets the same appreciation in monetary terms even if they perform well.
    5) Best performer award is fake appreciation to hold performer for time being.
    6) No process at all for anything no one knows whom to go for what.

    Advice to Management

    Grow up and think to improve the India center its getting worse.
    Review employees performance based on his contribution to project not his contribution towards buttering.
    Someone from US should come and manage things nothing is in place including HR, Finance and Admin.
