    Pros

The yearly bonus was excellent and they do give out RSA's.

    Cons

Yearly reorganization was annoying. Every meeting was on a phone due to the fact that the company was international.

    Advice to Management

    Org Chart! Make one!

    Pros

Exciting lines of growing business, solid financials of a medium-sized business that maintains much of its startup culture Convenient location of the NJ office Free food on Monday mornings. Free hot beverages all the time :-)

    Cons

Reorganization and limited internal formal training available at this point. Expect that to change as we continue to grow.

    Advice to Management

Request more updates via multimedia communication: town hall webcasts/conference calls, emails, intranet newsletters

    Pros

Cutting edge cloud technologies, innovative integration solutions, high profile clients and projects. Good pay. Co-workers are intelligent and experienced.

    Cons

High pressure to deliver on aggressive timelines. Can have a low work/life balance on certain projects. Company does not appear to have employee happiness as an overall goal, so plan on finding your own happiness in the workplace.

    Advice to Management

Keep realistic growth goals in mind when planning yearly revenue goals.

    Pros

Fast paced, company and there is a lot of opportunity for small team work. Feels like a start up but with good funding

    Cons

Company resources tend to be somewhat separated by target market / customer segment so leveraging technologies / products in a cohesive fashion was frequently a challenge.

    Pros

Very intelligent co-workers; great at their job, and good management (R&D) from my perspective. PTO, benefits and salary are very fair.

    Cons

Like all jobs, there are cons. Employees here are prone to being at the mercy of clients mostly because of the SaaS component of the business, and the clients treat you like a 'vendor' and lack a bit of respect for the intelligent people here; that needs to change.

    Advice to Management

Always be sure to back your people over a demanding/bullying client; the people here are hard working and intelligent. I know there are dividends to pay out, but without good employees, you have no good business offerings... the cycle is reciprocal.

    Pros

Synchronoss has a high grade of friendliness and comradery in the workplace. Communication is encouraged, and continual learning is stressed. Interns are (usually) treated as a valuable part of the team, and can contribute in a very real way to the success of projects. Good HR.

    Cons

As a fast-paced company, managers are often overworked. This can put undue stress on the team.

    Advice to Management

Synchronoss has a lot of interns each year, who are great resources -- don't let them go unused.

    Pros

Great place to work (Bay area) Challenging tasks .Personally grown a lot over years Interesting work .Start up kind of work

    Cons

Management needs to little more focussed on employees and code quality and standards .Like training people . making the work env more fun and motivating for co -workers

    Advice to Management

Guys have u ever realised the fact that sncr is a product based company meaning company is selling code and making money. So code is the key or the heart of the organisation .I have not seen one layer of management worry about coding standards. training people .motivating .sending them to conferences . I think management should seriously take this into consideration and make the foundations very strong. Thats the only thing thats gonna save the company for a long time and make it prosperous.
