Awesome atmosphere to work with. Lots to learn and implement.

    Cons

But growth rate is low. Also the salary they pay is very low for the work.

    Pros

Very intelligent co-workers; great at their job, and good management (R&D) from my perspective. PTO, benefits and salary are very fair.

    Cons

Like all jobs, there are cons. Employees here are prone to being at the mercy of clients mostly because of the SaaS component of the business, and the clients treat you like a 'vendor' and lack a bit of respect for the intelligent people here; that needs to change.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Always be sure to back your people over a demanding/bullying client; the people here are hard working and intelligent. I know there are dividends to pay out, but without good employees, you have no good business offerings... the cycle is reciprocal.

    Pros

Synchronoss has a high grade of friendliness and comradery in the workplace. Communication is encouraged, and continual learning is stressed.
Interns are (usually) treated as a valuable part of the team, and can contribute in a very real way to the success of projects.
    Good HR.

    Cons

As a fast-paced company, managers are often overworked. This can put undue stress on the team.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Synchronoss has a lot of interns each year, who are great resources -- don't let them go unused.

    Pros

Great place to work (Bay area)
Challenging tasks .Personally grown a lot over years
Interesting work .Start up kind of work

    Cons

Management needs to little more focussed on employees and code quality and standards .Like training people . making the work env more fun and motivating for co -workers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Guys have u ever realised the fact that sncr is a product based company meaning company is selling code and making money. So code is the key or the heart of the organisation .I have not seen one layer of management worry about coding standards. training people .motivating .sending them to conferences . I think management should seriously take this into consideration and make the foundations very strong. Thats the only thing thats gonna save the company for a long time and make it prosperous.

    Pros

    Decent pay
    Lots of overtime availability
Management willing to help when asked
    Offers plenty to learn

    Cons

    Weak/old computer system and software
    Incomplete/inneficient training
Staffing agency does not always offer much help

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to existing reps when deciding your training materials. Also try and pressure client companies to upgrade their software so employees can better assist customers. Otherwise, I must say I like this place.

    Pros

There was a very personal atmosphere. Everyone in my department knew their coworkers and were extremely friendly. I always felt comfortable going into work.

    Cons

The company is small so it would be tough to make any professional progress. The senior management appears to be permenantly in place.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I very much enjoyed working there. I would only recommend that the senior management try to be more visible and appreciative on a daily basis
