    Salary is at par with others

    Cons

    Horrible work culture.
    Command and control type of bosses
    the work is a mess. no one has any idea of what is to be done.
    all issues are resolved by fighting.
    Loudest voice wins argument and work will proceed accordingly

    if you are lucky to get a good manager, then good else god save you

    Cons

    no clear policy for promotion or pay hike
    career doesn't go anywhere after a while..
    only way to grow is towards management
    always short on staffing, too much pressure on few good performers
    No good vision from the leadership
    usually no correlation between performance and promotion
    not much benefit in terms of health care

    Only good for freshers, consider they leave this organization almost after 1year. apart from that...!!!!

    Cons

    For me its worst experience ever, Management are not capable enough to manage their team as well as Project. No corporate values only politics. Less salary, Policies are not employee Friendly

    Change your company policies, and working environment. Its very unprofessional and depressing. No work culture, No work life balance at all

    Pros

    Good pay. Opportunity to travel.

    Cons

    Antiquated gender- and hierarchy-based culture. Poor interview process - designed to get seats filled quickly, but not with the right person just the first OK person. Non-existent communication. Double standards abound. 24 hour working is common (e.g., meeting request for 11pm). No training or personal development - HR will say they're looking in to it, but will never follow up. Lip service performance management process - prewritten 'goals'. Employees are encouraged to focus on looking good rather than on doing a good job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Support and engage your employees. I've been with Syntel several months and have yet to even meet my manager... I've asked for information on client-specific training and have received no reply. Etc...

    Encourage employee accountability.

    Communicate openly - treat employees as professionals.

    Pros

    Good onsite opportunities,
    A few good development projects

    Cons

    - Worst Transport facility , illiterate and quarrelsome bus, cab and management. Cabs n buses condition is worst.
    - Below poor hikes.
    - Regional nepotism and politics at its core, no professionalism in work.
    - Employee are forced to do Manager's personnel work apart from assigned work .
    - Talent won't stay for more than 1 or 2 years.
    - Extra allowance, Awards n hike totally depends on Manager's will and mode and not on emp performance.
    - Egoistic managers and careless towards employees below them.
    - Overtime is there most of the time. People hardly leave on standard business hours.
    - Regional language is mostly used.

    At least provide literate and better transport system

    As a fresher you will be trained on JAVA/ .NET but you will be deployed in manual testing or production support project, No salary benefits

    Lot of HR politics, Company happens to be inclined towards people who do boot licking, Unethical practices followed.

    Start trusting your employees who are in middle management or junior level..The company is biased towards people who are at VP level or above.
