    Pros

You're on your own to creatively arrive at solution with hands-off management. The senior management team seems to be competent. The company deals with their vendors appropriately.

    Cons

Very little PTO given less than 5 years working with the company. Personal, sick, and vacation time is all lumped together in PTO... Too much time has been invested outside of the full-time required working hours to not be compensated when opportunities arise. Prior knowledge base and achievements are weighed too lightly in the potential value of the employee.

    Advice to Management

Set mandatory annual reviews to keep employees motivated and interested in staying on task. More transparency is required between management and employees.

    Pros

There are some wonderful people in the company with great vision and can make your job enjoyable at times.

    Cons

management simply feeds you the info the big guys up stairs feeds them and 9/10 times its a step in the wrong direction or a excuse as to why things are not working correctly and how they are "working on it"

    Pros

Get to see how a previous fortune 1000 company liquidates first hand.
Find out who left their lights on in the parking lot
Find out who parked in a reserved spot
Ruin the lives of hard working people. (the deserving)

    Cons

    Lack of direction
    Lack of ownership
    Lack of emotional drive
    Lack of leadership
    Lack of business knowledge
Lack of resources in the human resources dept
Ruin the lives of hard working people (the undeserving)

    Advice to Management

You got no idea how to compete in eCommerce. Just sell the company to someone who does. You put personal feelings in front of the overall success of the business and you drove it into the ground. You put your heads in the sand and acted like you didn't know what was going on for a decade. Two problems there. If you really didn't know, then your all just bad execs. If you did know and decided not to do anything about then your all just bad execs and you probably shouldn't be in charge of anything larger than a Popsicle stand.

    Pros

Very professional, knowledgeable co-workers, who are dedicated to contributing to the success of an incredibly diverse company. There are many long term employees of 10, 20 years. Compensation and perks are great! Comprehensive Medical insurance coverage is offered and can included dental and eye coverage, if desired. Discounts are provided for non-smokers. 401k provides a generous employer "match". On-site gym, business casual dress code, Friday "jeans" and welcoming atmosphere add to the positive working environment. Innovative technology and proprietary software add to a positive work experience. Good location, headquartered on the North Shore of Long Island. Close to all.

    Cons

Medical Insurance Benefits cost (premiums and out of pocket) is higher than expected, but there are more than 2 choices to choose from and most doctors are included in the "in-network" less expensive plan. Additionally, there is a bare-bones "afordable care act" plan that provides the least expensive option. I would not call any of these plans "Cadillac" plans, as out of pocket expenses can be as high as deductible each year, in addition to the premium. A 61 day waiting period is long - and depending when you begin employment can be 2 months and 3 weeks!

    Pros

You have the possibility to make a lot of money. Lower management does their best to help you succeed

    Cons

You're micro managed, with no ability to make decisions on your own. The software that should have been replaced 20 years ago. No. Lack of communication between upper management and grunts. Horrible training and benefits, your monthly cost for Health insurance will run $230, and its crap.

    Pros

The company has a lot of opportunities where a person can make positive change and is not afraid to ask questions. The company is also very supportive of career development and encourages movement within the company as long as you prove yourself worthy of it.

    Cons

This it not a place for a person who is looking for a clear path or a routine when it comes to work. There generally aren't a lot of set protocols and procedures in place. You will have to be willing to pick up knowledge on the fly as you work day to day. You have to be proactive and know where to get the knowledge you need to get your job done.

    Advice to Management

Encourage more interaction between different departments and business units so that we learn best practices. Continue to develop work procedures to minimize the learning curve for new employees.
