I worked at T-Mobile full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Benefits- health insurance, phone benefits, schooling, training, and etc
Values- teach and live by the values
Culture was so fun and energetic when it first opened and continued until Sue Nokes left the company.
Pay
Cons – Upper Management does not live the Values. They are inappropriate and when the inappropriate behavior that is unethical is brought to their attention they dismiss it and the people who bring it to the forefront.
Advice to Senior Management – When Sue Nokes left that is when the company started to slip, Meridian has some very "scandalous" things occurring that I am sure corporate has NO CLUE about. I was so proud to work for this company and still to the day years after leaving the company still LOVE the products and service, however the management of the company was not living the values of the company was playing favorites, getting rid of those that called them on ethical things and brushed things under the carpet. Start being honest NATE, live the values of T-Mobile and it will be amazing. It hurts my heart to see all that we worked for setting that call center up to see what it has become. I truly hope for the future of the company overall and here in Boise that things change soon.

I worked at T-Mobile
Pros – The pay and the benefits are great. The pay is above the industry standard. By the time I ha left, the newer employees were being brought in at a lower rate.
Cons – Management does not know how to manage. I asked my direct manager a question several times, she informed me to wait until the person directly under her came back and to ask them. She then told me it was not her job to know the technical information, but she was a coach one of the job descriptions was to be able to answer questions that the reps under you may have.
The managers get to come in whenever they feel like it and also leave when they feel like it. At this job, you need to plan your emergencies in advance. If you are absent, no matter the reason, you are getting written up.
Advice to Senior Management – Offer useful feedback.
Remember that respect is a two way street, you have to give it to get it.
Lead by example.

I have been working at T-Mobile
Pros – the benefits are great at tmobile (health,401k,phone discount)
Cons – unless you advance into a position off of the phone, its almost not worth it to stay. the upper management is disconnected from the frontline and they send down rules to icrease "customer satisfaction" while meeting "business needs" but often times it ends up alientating both customers and the frontline that was famed for customer service
Advice to Senior Management – Management claims to understand and appreciate the frontline but they admonish us for not being able to meet metrics that are inaccurately projected. subsequently reps are stressed and take shortcuts which of course decreases customer loyalty.

I worked at T-Mobile
Pros – There is some stability and productive work to be had if you get into the right area at the right time.
Cons – Senior management runs T-Mobile like a new, small company. Lots of instabiliity, injustice, and changing of people's status daily. Managers can act arbitrariliy and ruin the careers of the innocent with impunity. People are driven by self interest rather than the common one. Pay is substandard within high-tech. Many days one doesn't know whether to laugh or cry at the dysfunctionality all around.
Advice to Senior Management – Significant recent layoffs are one consequence of a company that never had its act together. The departure of good employees, which happens every day, is another. How long do you think you can fool people into thinking you are running a real company?
