I have been working at T-Mobile

    Pros

Exciting industry. Wireless impacts everyone in the entire nation. The workers, engineers, etc are great people with good attitudes.

    Cons

Management in my area were corrupt in the legal sense of the word. Their focus was on enhancing their positions, power or money, hiring their buddies- not on getting the project done correctly or quickly. Project Goals changed daily due to management lack of skills. You can't hit a moving target.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

See cons above. The managers you hire from developing countries bring their corrupt cultures with them. For instance, Rigging bids. Kickbacks. Hiring a family member with no skills and paying top salaries. Requiring hourly workers to put in 50+ hrs/week, but to report only 40, and to be paid only 40. Direct violation of US labor law. They need to be indoctrinated on the legal system here.
