Current Employee – been working at T-Mobile for more than a year

ProsGreat work environment. Management takes care of their employees and works with them every step of the way.

ConsYou're working with people that have been picked up off the street and were hired as contractors and then trained. Highschool graduates and the likes. You will cross paths with unprofessional co-workers. Half of whom got their certifications by studying off howtopass.com after they were hired on as a contractor.

How they get past this issue is that T-Mobile compartmentalizes everything. So even if you dont know anything there's really not much that you can screw up.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire employees that have a bachelors or an associates at least. It makes for a more professional work enviroment with employees that can make sense of the work rather than "just following procedure".

Former Employee – worked at T-Mobile

ProsGood company overall. They do try and promote those who produce results. Some politics, but that's to be expected anywhere in the Corporate realm.

ConsCompany suffered from lack of clear strategy/vision/direction which came from the executive level down.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't always trust the business to make the best decisions!

Bellevue, WA

Current Employee – been working at T-Mobile full-time for more than a year

ProsT-Mobile offers great benefits (discounted phone, health, dental, vision) and has an easy-going culture around the office. Individuals collaborate well and there is no sense of competition among fellow employees.

ConsBenefits have declined as they are reducing expenses. Opportunities for advancement have shrunk as recent layoffs have trimmed the ranks of middle management.
