    I worked at T-Mobile part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Opportunity to make really great money even when only working part time. The managers I have worked with were really good about accommodating schedules for school or other jobs.

    Cons

Extremely competitive sales quotas that are determined by using the district average as opposed to the store average, so when working at a location that has low traffic, it can be quite challenging to reach your monthly sales goals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

While I was working here, I saw the company make some pretty huge changes in how the stores were managed and the direction in how we interacted with our customers. I saw the changes as being beneficial to both the employees and the customers. As for internally, it seemed the best stores had managers who provided their employees with support and were always there to help if you needed them. These managers were not the one's who micromanaged, which showed the employees that their managers had faith in their ability to do the job they were hired to do.

    I worked at T-Mobile

    Pros

easy going sales environment, pretty low pressure compared to other companies i worked for. I would recommend for first time sales associates to gain experience. Set schedules were very nice

    Cons

fluctuating commission structure, company was constantly hiring outside management instead of promoting from within. overall not a bad place to work

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote from within. play more contests. listen to your employees and try to solve more issues. Also try to be more competitive with walmart and other indirect companies

I have been working at T-Mobile part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

The sales process is straightforward and it's an easy product to get behind. Half your job is tearing down Verizon which I do for free anyway. Quotas can be tough, but management is pretty forgiving if you have a bad month. Virtually impossible to get fired here.

    Cons

I've never met a T-Mobile Retail Store Manager that wasn't a huge tool.

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

T-Mobile is a company ready to drive change, be innovative and break down barriers. Most teams and employees in the customer service organization bleeds magenta and is a true joy to work with.

    Cons

Over the past two years, many strong women leaders have left the company - it is clear that women are accepted in leadership roles as long as they are "Yes sir" individuals and do not challenge the status quo.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You have lost some amazing women leaders - wake up!
