I worked at T-Mobile part-time for more than a year
Pros – Great medical benefits as well as 401k with company match. Pto was great as well. Learned a lot about new technology.
Cons – Retail hours, hourly pay was a little low, some politics seemed like favorites were played at times. Those who were yes men moved up.

I worked at T-Mobile full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – I enjoyed working for T-Mobile. Employees at TMO at all levels do live by their core values. It's not perfect but what company is. The people at TMO really make it worth while. In the eight years there I really only had one poor manager.
Cons – Still a lot of change and struggle to define their strategy and direction for the future ( particularly for B2B) but I think they are making all the right steps to get into a more competitive market position
Advice to Senior Management – Define the strategy and move firmly/quickly in that direction.

I worked at T-Mobile full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Healthy awareness of work-life balance, in general, though this depends a lot on your work group and your direct manager. Values-focused organization that actually walks the talk. Some really good people to work with, but be prepared to hunt around a lot to find them. Employee cell phone service plan is great. The current individual contributor bonus structure rewards good work at the individual contributor level regardless of team or company performance.
Cons – Recent corporate leadership changes and aggressive shift to predominantly contract-based workforce is eroding the culture. Older ethic of developing and promoting from within has disappeared. A long legacy of "start-up approach" and no centralized capture of processes and procedures has created a "tribal knowledge" culture -- who you know is infinitely more important than what you know.

I worked at T-Mobile part-time
Pros – The pros can be discount on phones, team oriented environment, flexible schedule. Also, if you get a lenient manager it could be fun at work.
Cons – The place can get pretty busy during the holidays. If you do not have good retail skills your hours can very between your skill.
Advice to Senior Management – Give the youth some chance at employment.

I worked at T-Mobile full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Mobile is a very exciting industry - T-Mobile is trying to change pricing models in the industry to make it more afordable and reasonable
Cons – It is centrally managed, with a lot of politics and disagreements among different groups. Company has difficulty managing more than one thread
Advice to Senior Management – You need to become a multi-threaded company where leaders have annual budgets, and goals, and can operate against those goals
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time for more than a year
Pros – A company that's trying to do things differently. Seems to have pulled itself out of the slump it was in for a few years. Lots of opportunity to move fast and change the industry.
Cons – The organization keeps changing all the time. This can be good or bad depending what you're looking for. People seeking comfortable stable employment should look elsewhere.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep shaking up the industry. Do more to retain your high-performers.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
