Former Employee – worked at TEKsystems full-time for more than a year
Pros – They do offer some benefits if you need them.
They are competitive in the hourly rate they pay - but you have to negotiate for it
The will pay time and a half for over time - but you have to negotiate it
Most of the Account Managers are pretty engaged and check in regularly
Cons – No paid holidays as a standard - but you can negotiate it
If you can go 1099 - negotiate it up front - you cannot change from 1099 to W-2 or visa versa once you start your contract.
Benefits web pages are hard to navigate and finding information can be difficult.

Current Employee – been working at TEKsystems as a contractor for less than a year
Pros – My dealings with TekSystems have been fair. They have gotten me work twice and have not had luck with any other firms. Gave us a Christmas party and they do offer benefits.
Cons – Had to repeat the paperwork for each contract.
Advice to Senior Management – To be a state of the art Consulting firm or a ground breaking one work on lobbying the government to offer grants for training to consultants so they can stay better employed and not allow all the foriegn workers who get the cheap training come in and take our jobs. My county offers Truck Driver training and basic computer training. Nothing that would help a consultant out of work.

Current Employee – been working at TEKsystems full-time for more than a year
Pros – Lots of jobs, weekly and prompt pay.
Cons – Low wages, value the client to the absolute detriment of the contractor, they won't even talk to you about other opportunities when you are on an ongoing project. Terrible benefits, no sick time or vacation. poor support and training.
Advice to Senior Management – Invest just a little bit in your employees. Learn the definition of Morale.

Current Employee – been working at TEKsystems as a contractor for more than a year
Pros – Getting hired for the Defense contract was very smooth and TEKsystems did all the hard work including negotiating compensation.
Cons – When it came time that I was assured that I would be brought on as a full employee of the company, it did not happen. The annual review did not result in improved compensation from the Defense company so I felt stuck in the position without any improvements in compensation or benefits.
Advice to Senior Management – Tell new hires that there is always a chance that the company will not bring you on as a full employee. Ii is important to negotiate what the new hire really needs and not to low-ball it.

Current Employee – been working at TEKsystems full-time for more than a year
Pros – TekSystems offers it employees phenomenal benefits.
Cons – TekSystems or FCS could not find enough projects to keep me busy.
Advice to Senior Management – It seems like there is not a very good information flow between TekSystems or Allegis and its subsidiaries like FCS about its most important resources, employees(consultants) and projects. TekSystems and Allegis Group seems to have problems utilizing their consultants at their subsidiaries because they have constant openings for consultants while their subsidiaries lay off consultants.
