Telus also has yearly holiday parties that are catered and Raffle off prizes from 50" LG TV to tablets and gift cards. Telus also believes in giving back to the community so there is always opportunities to volunteer your services.

    Cons

Pay could be better $12/hr is not much when you're dealing with clients that have a high demands.

    Pros

Flexible work styles and lots of opportunity and change
Leadership at the top (Jeff Puritt) is strong)

    Cons

The leadership group below Jeff is a mess; very little accountability; and no vision or plan for how to grow the organization.
Pay and benefits are poor and the company attempts to compensate for the low pay by touting the alleged company culture (which does not exist outside Canada).

    Advice to Management

Get it together and be willing to make the hard decisions required to move forward. Yes, that might mean you have to fire some people or restructure roles and responsibilities (and that would be healthy).

    Pros

Great benefits legit job and it does have opportunity for advancement and legit campaigns they also like to have fun

    Cons

Trainer has been very aggressive and I felt like she needs to leave lighten up some. Maybe it's just my class but I feel like she doesn't like us (me especially)

    Advice to Management

Break the tight knit group and encourage team members to let others in I have felt very alienated by my superiors.

    Pros

The company itself is in a great location. There are many amenities to provide a fun, active, environment with areas to also to relax. The are restaurants that some onsite to sell food inside and food trucks outside. A lot of money has been spent to make the space aesthetically pleasing.

    Cons

low pay and minimum paid time off, horrible benefits, being a minute late two times could cost you your job, no chance for advancement, overly strict call center environment where every minute is timed, low pay, jobs can end with little notice due to outsourcing,

    Advice to Management

The people hired are responsible adults that passed the interview process, have adequate education, and work hard. Even call centers should treat people as adults that can make decisions and manage their time.
