    Pros

    - international working environment - opportunity to develop and try many different types of roles - dynamic and result driven company

    Cons

    - as it is a large organisation, the internal politics can be inefficient and time consuming - although it is an international environment it is still challenging to move roles across businesses if you do not know the right people. (HR have limited visibility, motivation to work across businesses and markets)

    Advice to Management

    - continue to challenge yourselves - evaluate/analyse cost savings and actions better and understand what their long term impact will be for the business

  2. Good, but not great. Competitive benefits but offices are uninspiring and little culture.

    Pros

Good benefits and competitive salary, generally good atmosphere in office, nice people to work with, great internal communications. Working hours are great. Working for TUI Travel is working for a market leader

    Cons

Hierarchical system means it is very difficult to get things done. Location of offices isn't great. Very political environment. Salary reviews are rubbish. Little company culture or social life due to location.

    Advice to Management

Internal sign off is a nightmare and slows down the rate of movement across the company

Great learning of modern management in a multinational

    Cons

Internal politics, salary and benefits low

    Advice to Management

Restructuring is common at TUI, so if stability is what you want, maybe not your kind of employer

    Pros

Great people, fun environment, outstanding travel benefits. Pay pretty good for travel industry and the brand is prestigious in the industry.

    Cons

Lack of progression opportunities, particularly in between departments. Luton location rather sterile but they do their best to keep staff entertained despite being away from bright lights of London.

    Advice to Management

Invest in people with dedicated training programmes and don't be short sighted and assume people want to stay in the same department for all their career

    Pros

Great perks, nice people! Free money to put towards the purchase of your summer holiday for all staff is a bonus.

    Cons

There are offices in Luton and in Coventry. They might as well be different companies. Only apply for jobs in Luton.

    Advice to Management

opportunity is slow to develop, people tend to get a little stuck and leave. Ok if you are not in a rush!
