    Pros

Flexible hours. Anyway this company can save money and not have to pay you they will. Co-workers are a pleasure to work with, which makes the day go by quicker.

    Cons

I hated that I had to give a star at all. This company is numbers driven. If not enough patients seen on average, you are constantly being reminded that your job could be in jeopardy because you are not needed if it is too slow. This company sends the message that you are only as good as what you can produce. To survive in this company you have to be able to play the game correctly. Keep your opinions or I should say your concerns to yourself and allow management to be able to use you as much as needed. Management needs to prove to their superiors that they were able to get their money's worth out of you.

    Advice to Management

No advise. Management is like sheep. They do as they are told. They need there job.

I worked at Take Care Health full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some of the staff really care about patients and employees.

    Cons

MANAGEMENT at the site, corporate and human resource advocate are awful. They don't listen to the staff and do not address concerns reported.

    Advice to Management

Listen, INVESTIGATE, and listen to all sides of the story don't believe what a manager says just because you favor the person -

I have been working at Take Care Health full-time

    Pros

Pay in competitive with other companies. Benefits are good. The patient load is decent.

    Cons

The electronic medical record is the worst I have ever used. Lots of redundancy in the company. (they have ten people doing the same job in the upper management area). Upper management does not have a clue on how to make the job more inviting and have unrealistic expectations of the clinics performance with the tools that are available to the providers.

    Advice to Management

Get a new EMR. Try some advertising. Treat your employees with respect.

    Pros

Got to work with a great Retail company. Pay above average in market I was living in.

    Cons

Too many mergers with larger companies creating Vendor distrust and management chaos over the years. Mid-level management turnover was chaotic. Upper level management never knew who there next boss was, therefore was unreliable and untrustworthy. Walgreens recently sold this company which says a lot about future profitability. Makes you wonder whether the whole Employer based health clinic as a future after Obama Care. Fortune 500 companies probably wondering if there is a cheaper, better system to manage their employees health care needs.

    Advice to Management

Get out while the getting is good. try to get the Golden parachute the top level management at past bought out companies received (research WholeHealth (Cleveland), Meridian (Philly), Take Care-- where are all the bosses now. Even Walgreens CEO recently forced out after a noter merger. Wait, only the Fat Cats get that, forget it- just get out and I am sure there is a much better, satisfying, less stressful, and more secure career out there for you.

    Pros

Nice office with some really nice people, not all but some really nice people.

    Cons

The management there is horrid! The good Ol' Boy network resides there and unless you are liked by all the good Ol' boys and girls you are ostracized! Very unprofessional, and poor real managment where they take interest in the employees. Unless you want to be just a number then look elsewhere!

    Advice to Management

Learn how to manage people and not just processes!

I worked at Take Care Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Interesting workplace in industrial environment. That's about it. They will ruin any company they start working for.

    Cons

Prejudicial management. I am white, a black MA was mercilessly abused emotionally at this job. She complained to management in Kentucky, they immediately called her supervisor and laughed about it and blew it off. They are run by people that were fired from other places, and are very cliquish in their hiring procedures. The nurses will hire their friends, your evaluation will be faked so you cannot possible make any progress. Worse place Ive ever seen. No management competance. I have no idea how they could possible keep their jobs, except the management is just as horrible.

    Advice to Management

Fire all your incompetant managers, and their unqualified friends that take over offices. Quit breaking the rules and allowing unqualified people to do jobs they are not licensed or qualified to do. Don't allow your management to get away with things like letting a provider work and see patients without a state license, write controlled substances without a DEA license. Hire their friends, make money for "recommending" them, and sitting around in cliques at offices making jokes and sexually explicit comments about their "lifestyle" and about other employees. Allowing these "favorites" to have their managers fake their time cards. Having these managers clock in people that aren't actually at work. Allowing an employee that called in sick over 20 times in the first 90 days of employment keep their job,(bacause she's your cousin). Then allow these "friends" in your clique to get away with anyting as long as they spy on other employees and tell their version of office gossip to you on the way in to work after being late 3 weeks in a row. The whole system of management is a joke. Kentucky supervisors are an even bigger joke. Most should be in jail. So many issues I cannot even begin to list them all.

I worked at Take Care Health full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

good 401K plan, good paid time off

    Cons

Supervisors and Human Resources are unethical, negligent, abrasive, bullying, make poor decisions, conspire amongst each other to protect themselves when the employee has a legitimate right to question something. Supervisors are either not informed or choose not to inform employees of essential things that employees found out the hard way, (related to employee rights! ) Excessive email communications from irrelevant/unrelated parts of the company and poor excuses and cover ups for not answering up to questions which affected employees contract or morale. The entire company is a cast system and HR is the company watchdog that protects higher management, even when it is evident that practices were wrong and terribly unethical. There is no justice if you are a Manager or Health Fitness Specialist. You will be used up, chewed up, and spit out. The conference calls are a nauseating display of one individual the 'Product Solution' Fitness Manager trying to justify his useless joke of a title that no one has any use for and they take attendence on the calls like employees are in grade school. I have never seen such a display of unethical practices and cover ups and unprofessional behavior of those in coveted titles until Take Care Heatlh was my employer. Would never recommend.

    Advice to Management

Have a psychology test for Directors and above or ensure they are taking their psych meds. Hire someone in HR who is fair and not a boss-licker.

I worked at Take Care Health part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There was not one good thing that came from my time there...just scars.

    Cons

There was nothing but total disrespect and disregard toward employees. I witnessed managers come and go, averaging 1 per year, and burning them out with stressful unrelated job obligations, minimal pay, and no benefits. After working at the contracting agency of TC for 13 years, I was let go with no cause and with manipulation and lies. It was a nightmare to be treated so savagely after years of committed hard work.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to properly and fairly treat employees. Human resources should be there for this purpose, not to be a sideline mute.

    Pros

pay. co-workers are very skilled, high quality providers.

    Cons

No regular hours. Very varied scheduling so never home. If you have a family you will miss everything. Lots of turnover due to the poor work-life balance. All about the money. No reguard for the the internal customer. Could care less what your needs are but expect your loyalty. Very disconnected experience.

    Advice to Management

Offer routine clinic 12 hour shift. Happy employee= successful business. Allow providers to do all they are trained to do.
