    Pros

    Depending on the team you are on, meaning who the manager and the team lead are, it can be a lot of fun. Not to mention independent. And again based on your team manager, you may have lots of flexibility to work from home (ie: max 2 days a week). The company is a strong player in the industry and due to the services it provides, it will not lay off people very easily. It is a fast growing company that gives merit-based bonuses. Health benefits are really good. Somewhat flexible work schedule.

    Cons

    There's not much ability for teammates to back each other up because there each client has a specifically tailored management plan. Some team managers do not allow much work-from-home opportunity. They are even reluctant to allow it when you are sick. If you are a good employee however, they might let it slide more easily (as long as you aren't sick often). You are expected to work from home in the evenings sometimes. There is also an expectation to maintain a 50-60 hour work schedule with no compensation for the extra worked hours (this is done to maximize marginal revenue benefits).

    Advice to Management

    The most important internal improvement that can be made are the ones related to procedures and processes that will make the jobs of client service analysts and their support teams easier.

    Lots of challenges and plenty of opportunity to stand out

    Take better care of top performers and look for ways to help them reduce workload

    Pros

    This company continues to grow and add new clients. With it comes growth and upward mobility. Tangoe also has a lot more to offer than just its MDM product. Laid back atmosphere with dogs in the office. So far almost everyone I have encountered in the office is friendly and helpful.

    Cons

    The pay could be better, but the benefits aren't bad. The atmosphere is laid back but there isn't much in the way of onsite amenities and the training is pretty flimsy.

    Pros

    Our leadership team makes it very clear that if you have questions, ask. Very helpful with any issues I have had. I have time to get my tasks done throughput the day, and love that such care is taken in how we feel about our work environment ; "fun days" are scheduled, management compliments your via email when you've earned it, and consistent review is provided to let you know what you're doing right, and what you could improve on.

    Cons

    I've been a temp for 7 months and have continually preformed top notch per my scorecards. I would like to be hired. Pay raises are promised, but don't seem to be followed through on.

    Advice to Management

    If you're going to go out of your way to announce exactly how pay raises are awarded, don't dally around with actually giving them out to the employees who actually meet the standards explained. Follow through.

    Pros

    Health benefits are really good. It's a small enough company that if you are great, you will be noticed. If you are terrible, you will be noticed. Company has a strong vision and as a result, a great future.

    Cons

    Very informal training processes for most area. Compensation is constrained very tightly through corporate policy. We sometimes lose great people because of this.

    Advice to Management

    Address both of those cons. Consider the value of a more standardized training program, providing actual training to individuals who train, to equip them to be more successful in preparing new employees. Too much of our processes is fly by the seat of your pants. Understand that our people will drive the distance between us and our competitors because time will allow competitors to compete with us on software. We need to obtain, develop, and retain talent. Improving compensation and providing greater transparency in compensation will allow that.

    Pros

    The people. Tangoe is a group of highly-motivated, incredibly intelligent Telco experts who really understand the product that they're delivering. It is little wonder they've grown so fast in the market they are in (TEM).

    Cons

    There is some stagnation in your position, unless you can reinvent yourself. That takes effort on your side and is not necessarily something that management will groom you for without you taking that first step.

    Advice to Management

    Remember that operations drives the business, and we need to continue to drive that business in the months/years to come.

    Pros

    Exciting, always changing environment with a market leader. Opportunity to learn and grow with the dominant player in Telecom Life Cycle Management.

    Cons

    Combining many different corporate cultures and software platforms can lead to conflicting expectations from customers and employees. Management not always aware of what employees have to offer.

    Advice to Management

    Make sure not to promise more than you can deliver to customers and employees. Find ways to improve training for employees.

    Pros

    If you live in the GNH area, it's one of the few hitech options.

    Cons

    A bit disorganized, don't value good employees until it's too late.

    Advice to Management

    Take a good look at the lower tier of workers, make sure they're happy. More focus on cusotmer satisfaction overall.
