I worked at Tata Consultancy Services full-time

    Pros

Good opportunity if you are willing to relocate often.

    Cons

Easy to get lost in the cracks of such a poorly run company. Not conducive to a family that wants to stay in one area. Very poor communication from management.

    Advice to Management

Provide more opportunity for communication and work harder to gain contracts that give employees the ability to stay in one area for a significant period of time.

    Pros

I honestly can't think of any. I am not the only one who feels this is the worst company we've ever worked for.

    Cons

Onboarding is a joke Annual review process is a joke People even at higher management level are incompetent Offshore teams lack training and work ownership Getting anything done with HR is extremely painful A lot of management that doesn't really do anything Cultural clash with the American based workplace community Super-cheap - even for specific events like team member welcome TATA will force you to pay your own bill and part of the newcomer's bill

    Advice to Management

Get some senior management that is not from India and integrate into the US culture.

I worked at Tata Consultancy Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Long months of unemployed pay (if and when you are sitting on bench)

    Cons

Horrible commute transport. Insane pressure from bosses because they will over work a good candidate and not bother to train a average candidate who may help ease the pressure in the team

    Advice to Management

The ILP is an effective way of training however employees are not placed in the technology they are trained in ILP for !
