    Pros

If you're lucky and/orhave good contacts within the organization then you can get to do some really interesting work the likes of which is offered only at a much higher experience level in other organizations

    Cons

Bureacratic, Slow, Not open to new ideas, Too many levels and senior leaders who have no vision and do literally nothing. Very hierarchical and autocratic. Absolute unwillingness to change

    Advice to Management

Serious introspection and change in the way employees are treated and manged

    Pros

New plant, greenfield experience. Nothing else

    Cons

Pathetic managers, no work life balance, no strong HR policies, Number of restrictions on employees as per plant heads decision/mood, dirty politics at each level. Life will become like hell after joining. No department such as HR.

    Advice to Management

Look at the management practices followed by Japanese / multinational companies. Work life balance is utmost important. HR policies are not just for showing, you need to follow them as well. Company policies should not be person dependent, it should be process driven.

    Pros

good brand for the CV. The brand might take you places. If one works for say about 2 years, one can get good opportunities in better organizations. But spending 2 years itself is a lot of patience.

    Cons

the worst kind of idiots to deal with. Unnecessary pressure to sell substandard cars at a premium.

    Advice to Management

No point giving any advice....people dont want to listen to anything in TATA Motors. The management needs to understand that making sub-standard cars doesnt help at all.
