    Pros

    I could see people managing to stay on bench more than 3 months which cant be the situation in other companies..Not sure how it is...

    Cons

    They hav only 2 accounts for mainframe. You may have to stay long on bench and quit the company if you fought inside these accounts...in chennai
    Difficult to get onsite

    Their policy.for senior professionals will be like.......No hike...No respect....just do work if u want to stay in company

    Get more projects or transfer mainframe projects from other location to chennai.....Whoever works in resource management to allocate project are dead bodies which wont help people to get suitable project

    Pros

    flexible timings, if your manager is a good person, you can avail work from home too

    Cons

    i joined as a fresher and i wasted two years as there were no projects in Tech Mahindra. i got the project exactly after two years.All the higher management sits in noida and if you are in any other location other than noida, you are out of luck as they will force you to work (if there are any projects) even if you are not of that particular domain. appraisal is a dream where you wont be sleeping at all. they will show profits in every quarter but when it comes to hike, they will show excuses like we acquired so n so, construction of new building etc. i was a big fan of Ramalingaraju and was so interested in working with Satyam. After acquiring Satyam, i feel this is the worst place to work and feel pity of those who were past Satyam employees and current TechM employees as they came to hell from heaven.

    try to think from employee perspective and try to retain employees who are really worth it.

    luckiy got a good working environment. friendly and helpful collegues.

    very slow promotion and always expecting to work overtime

    Depends on the project and the managers you are into. I believe you will have work life balance at-least in Tech Mahindra Hyderabad

    You will have recognitions in words but not in form of Pay or Promotions

    Pros

    No pros at all. You will be pissed off.

    Cons

    - HR policies can change at any moment.
    -Even appraisal cycles are not fix. Can be changed any at time.
    -Mission 2015 is their target and god knows what they are trying to achieve there.
    -Hike is less than 10% even if you are top rated during appraisals.
    -If you are trying for pune location and you don't know local language, you have to suffer alot. People don't even have sense to talk in english during calls.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    -shut down all mission 2015 dramas. You are making employees' life harder. Learn to pay good salary to your internal staff first and go for acquiring other companies like Satyam, Emphasis etc. It's not your cup of tea to handle all such giant companies. Try to spend some time at ground level. People are frustrated like anything.
