    Pros

    Bonuses, when you get them.

    Cons

Promotions are hard to get, and that's the only way you can get a raise.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Raises would be nice...

    I worked at TeleTech

    Pros

Lots of incentive, great support from team leads, lots of shift schedules to choose from, lots of training and continued training. For the first time of doing customer service on the phone it was quite an experience.

    Cons

Very clock oriented - meaning they always were looking for better quality work in less time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management was fine as far as i was concerned. I realize your customer wants things scripted a certain way but ease up on the timeframe of how the calls are taken. Also put more people on the weekends.

I worked at TeleTech part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Convenience, personal growth, and bonuses

    Cons

No opportunity to advance, offer to promote within more than seeking outside sources

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Considering training team leads better, instead of micro-managing

    Pros

instructors were friendly and helpful. The tech support team was very helpful, you were able to get people to cover your shift.

    Cons

very hard to get off the phone when it was the end of your shift.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

longer training and easier way to end your shift. when you did get off the extended phone call there was so much info required to different areas.

    I worked at TeleTech

    Pros

Having worked in TeleTech's corporate HQ, employees were generally not micromanaged. Salary was comfortable although a bit lower than industry average for my position. Full bene's/401k w a 3% match, accumulate paid time off every paycheck. Underground parking garage was nice on snowy days. Fast paced work environment and managers were always quick to give praise. Very decent corporate culture, which made going to work much better.

    Cons

Stagnant salary... I can't count the number of great employees ttec lost while I was there because they could go get higher pay from the company down the street.. And in 2 years I didn't get a one raise, which is the same as losing money to inflation (That's ultimately why I left). Health insurance was not the best with a $1,300 deductible before it kicked in. Work life balance was not ideal- managers expect a lot from subordinates.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's imperative to provide competitive pay for the HQ positions.... This 20-30% yearly attrition in rev assurance, finance, and accounting is bleeding great talent from ttec because folks can go get $10k more a yrar elsewhere for doing the same amount of work.

    I worked at TeleTech

    Pros

    Decent amount of hours.
Pay is okay, but could be better.
    Coworkers are generally pleasant.

    Cons

User systems constantly crashing or having issues
For some programs, pay is not adequate to scope of work
    Training is very minimal

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve training, possibly increase length for certain programs. Especially for seasonals, is like being thrown to the wolves.
