I worked at TeleTech part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Trainers, coaches and Team leads are all very nice. They do their best to help you. When you leave on good terms you can qualify to be rehired. (I was). I worked from home in customer service. When you make 6 months you can sign up to receive a flex spending health card where Teletech puts in $23 twice a month. You can use that for prescription copays and other pharmaceutical products. If you are off on a holiday and you are a perm agent you get paid and if you work you get holiday pay. It's easy to switch schedules or shifts with other agents when you need time off.

    Cons

The only thing I don't like is that the pay can start from $8 to $9/hr. There are no raises unless you change positions.
When it's very busy they add mandatory hours to your schedule and when it's very slow you get mandatory time off.
When you work a full 8 hour day you only get 2 10min breaks and one 30 min lunch break. Sometime it's hard sitting there when it's very busy without a sufficient break time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You should give raises at least when an employee is there 6months and then every year. When employees have to work a full day during peak seasons at least give 2 15 minute breaks and at least a 45 min lunch break. Maybe you can give the option of a 30 min or 45 min lunch break up to the agent when setting schedules.
Agents can be more happy and productive when having the proper breaks especially during stressful seasons at work.
    Otherwise a pretty ok company.

I have been working at TeleTech part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great work from home. It is a potable job and since I have been moving around the past 2 years because of relocation, I could take my job with me.

    Cons

There is no room to grow n this company.

I worked at TeleTech part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Great way to gain experience, little to no requirements to get hired.
    - Very casual and friendly atmosphere. Great people, lots of friends.
    - Salary is not bad at all if you are a student and work hard to comission the max.

    Cons

    - Extremely disorganized, you have to learn how to do everything on the job as the training leaves you very unprepared.
    - No one seems to take the job seriously.
    - You find yourself working in projects for companies which are also extermely chaotic, this might be because of Teletech's service or because of the companies who hire Teletech, but anyway, there are times in which simply no one knows what to do at all with a certain issue.
    - Company doesn't really care about its customers, and it shows.
    - Tremendously unprepared, underqualified people get hired all the time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Try to maintain closer contact with your employees and proedures. Everyone does pretty much whatever they want, including supervisors, managers and reps. Maybe this is truer of outsourced sites outside the U.S., i dont know.

    - Get together with your clients and have them come up with better customer service solutions, i worked for two different campaigns and both were very chaotic.

    - Care a little more about the customers.

I have been working at TeleTech full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Overall it is not a bad company to work for. There is plenty of opportunity to grow and expand your knowledge. One must be willing to be flexible because change is the only thing constant. Plenty of activities that keep you engaged and on the right track.

    Cons

If your not someone who is really talkative then you will want to really think about joining. If you are a real talker or "chatty cathy" then you will need to learn to talk less and listen more; as your metrics will depend on it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Somethings are not worth improving simply because one or more people don't like how it is run. If it works then let it be. If you try "it" a different way and you discover it doesn't work don't keep forcing the change. I know somethings need change, but that doesn't mean everything does. Because one part of the car doesn't work does not mean the mechanic will take the whole thing apart and try to rebuild it.

I worked at TeleTech part-time for less than a year

    Pros

The employees and trainers are cool! I really enjoyed working at the company! I would recommend others to look into job opportunities with TeleTech.

    Cons

I understand that is imperative to attend training 100% but I have personally seen how people would miss time and the trainer would like out for them, which is good. The one issue I have is that I was one of the strongest agents but because I missed time for being ill, I had to leave the company. I didn't understand that. I've been working from home for some years now, and I always get offers so I wasn't too upset! :)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take in consideration that peoples health is more important than their job and please make improvements to WorkBooth!! Other than that, I think the company is Great!!!

I worked at TeleTech as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

Great company to work for . Only worked temporary during summer but the three months I worked I had great pay.

    Cons

The fact that it was so short since it was only a temporary summer job. Didn't get to show my full potential

I have been working at TeleTech

    Pros

They work around pretty much any schedule, monthly bonuses, overall not a terrible place to work.

    Cons

Petty high school semantics, based largely on the age range of most employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pay more money.
