    Pros

I learned every day obstacles to apply to my career as well as my personal life. I truly feel like I belong here, the environment is comfortable and pleasing. My supervisors and coworkers are wonderful. You really have to apply yourself to this position but it is all well worth it and the outcome is the best reward.

    Cons

The uncertainty of having a permanent status of our employment was the only downfall, but if you truly apply yourself and have a passion for this job then there are absolutely no worries.

    Advice to Management

Possibly more thorough and hands-on learning applied during the 6 week training course but I'm sure new methods will take place next hiring season.

    Pros

Good opportunity to work a full time job. Good support from the trainers and team leaders. Will work with you on availability and if time off is needed as long as you follow the procedures. Nice facilities.

    Cons

No opportunity to get a raise. The only was is the move up to a new position. There aren't many negatives as long as you are willing to come in and do the job that you have been hired to do.

    Advice to Management

Offer a better salary after 90 day or even up to 1 year. Nine dollars an hour is not enough for someone to support themselves, even at an entry level position.

    Pros

They are a positive, upbeat company, and offer fabulous employee support, bonuses and incentives. All supervisors, from my trainer, team lead, and higher supervisors are very accessible, courteous and helpful. I was a seasonal employee, and would return to work for teletech immediately as soon as a position becomes available.

    Cons

The schedule wasn't very flexible, and no advance notice was given when ramping down. Also, I was part of a 1week blitz training, which was nowhere close to being sufficient.

    Advice to Management

When ramping down, give your employees more than 1 day notice. Also, try to adequately schedule training employees, so that blitz training does not have to occur

    Pros

I have been working with Teletech as an @home agent for 3 years and am grateful for the job. I get to work from home. I have a good shift so I still get to spend time with my family. Pay is not great but it's good for me. No OT but you can pick up extra shifts to max out your hours for the week and you'll make a good paycheck.

    Cons

Dealing with difficult customers is quite stressful but I don't blame that on the company. So many people are just unhappy and can be mean to you as an agent.

    Advice to Management

Better training. Training is often rushed and no hands on during training makes it extremely difficult when you go live.
