I worked at Telemundo Communications as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

A division of NBC Universal, good perks but you won’t have time to redeem them.

    Cons

Contingent employment through a staffing agency. They ended the contract two months in advance the original date two days before they new end of contract date. No reason at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop damaging careers with no explanation of what to expect. Most of the coworkers started through contingent employment, you need to provide measurable goals and expectations and provide structure to the Sales team.

I worked at Telemundo Communications full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Not much to do, working for uneducated immigrants is not any huge amount of work. For some people things are different. The suits make it look like they are winning battles though...a lot of pretending will carry you a long way.

    Cons

They don't like anything or anybody who is not mexican. They are not creative in the least, aiming to entertain to the lowest denominator by flashing them with semi-naked latinas, no growth in the company unless you want to please the new female bosses.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Realize you would never make it in any market unless people weren't so stupid. At least Try to pretend to be creative.

I have been working at Telemundo Communications full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

The one nice thing about working for Telemundo is that it is part of NBC and Comcast. Most of the hosts of the shows are pleasant to work with.

    Cons

This company does not complete nor follow through with what they promise. Their management are all liars. Everything there is who you know not how hard you work. And the gossip that goes on there...I could tell you everyone's life story...
The management thinks they are so far up the ladder that they cannot even say good morning. If a show is cancelled, they just fire everyone. And whats more, they hire freelancers, pay double or triple the price for a service instead of reorganizing the dedicated employees they had...that place is a joke for a company

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees, hold on to your good employees...you will eventually be a long and forgotten network if not....

    Negative Outlook
