    Pros

Co workers. A small portion of their management is actually management material and is what management should be.

    Cons

Their management is very poorly qualify to hold from supervisor jobs and up .
Their rules for break time are ridiculous 15min twice a day for break this folks includes when your on the floor and you must use the bathroom or anything the time needs to be deducted from your two 15 min breaks you have the whole day . you cannot work a schedule you want or need . they give yu the schedule they want you to have .
They won't pay you accordanly to your over time they will some how put every excuse out there that you some how were making up time . and the major thing they do is generate points on you for anything they possible can . for you being 1min late or if your computer was having issues and that isn't your problem they will give you points for not working giving you points is a terminology that goes the more you have the closer you are to getting fired. Not allowed to have paper, pencil or pen, nor your personal belongings on the floor. You have to ask for your lunch break everyday. This company needs some major rule changing and how they run .
Needs to do more for its employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Different company structure , to be able to keep employees and not having to be hiring all year round you have been on 3+ years hiring all year round when will you get it .

    Pros

The hiring process will let just about anyone within their doors. If you need a job ASAP, then apply, but don't get stuck there.

    Cons

No room for real advancement, you may get stuck just helping pout your supervisor without any real compensation(i.e.-raise, promotion). It's built on favoritism.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to stricken the hiring process, create a real environment. Promote and properly monitor the supervisors and managers.

I worked at Teleperformance full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Pretty pond in the back with turtles. Large parking lot.

    Cons

This was originally written under Aegis, but it now called Teleperformance after a buyout in 2014.

Extremely unprofessional work environment. "Dissaray," as another reviewer (see Aegis) stated, is putting it mildly. Hopefully Teleperformance can fix them.

The job (not as a call center agent) pays about half of what comparable jobs are in Dallas. I believe agents also can make more at other call centers in the area. The outdated, often filthy, computers constantly make it difficult to impossible to do your job. I believe they were from about 2008. The security measures on them are so extreme they even block the information the company itself requires for you to complete your work. Getting any kind of IT help takes an act of Congress. Often you never do get what you need done.

There is no new employee orientation other than for agents and it centered around dress code, time worked, etc. so you never learned know who is who, etc. from a company standpoint. Redundant reports are necessary daily. There is a complete lack of communication. Everyone is running around dealing with chaos due to lack of organization, SOPs, communication.

Payroll is chaos. Someone posted a Youtube video on agents who had quit or were terminated trying to get their final paychecks that were owed to them. They are constantly getting paychecks wrong even with a biometric wall clock system, a computer clock system, manual timesheets, etc. Finally someone from Teleperformance corporate came to help straighten it out, but the problems with pay still have not been resolved. Management have set up "telethon" like rooms where they sit and answer questions about pay all day on paydays due to the number of issues experienced. Many paydays employees were either paid incorrectly or not paid at all and it would take weeks to get their paycheck or a corrected. Some never did get paid for hours worked even after my time there. I heard that one employee was overpaid thousands. Others had not been with the company for months, yet were still being paid. Nobody ever even noticed. HR constantly has a sign on the door that says they are "closed." You have to sign in and they might see you. They look at your shoes through the small part of the window on the door that is not papered over to determine if they will speak to you or not.

It was as if they had started the business yesterday, yet they are a huge global business. There's lots of sexual harassment and it is ignored. There is also lots of racial discrimination. Corporate offices are closed off and separate and they appear out of touch with what is really going on, blaming employees for not performing their jobs when the employee cannot even get simple tools like printer or copier access, their own computer and desk/work station set up for them properly, etc. I never did get a phone and was forced to use my own personal cell phone for work conference calls, etc. The health benefits are so poor you end up having to pay the penalty to the government because they do not meet the Affordable Healthcare Act standards.

Yes, it does feel like a high school, but not in a good way. There is supposed to be a dress code and the new employee orientation focuses a huge amount of time on this yet people are dressed like they are either streetwalkers or going clubbing (or never came home from the club), there are fights in the parking lot, security guards everywhere inside and outside. Even the HR people were physically assaulted while I was there, one was a little person and he was bitten! They had police presence on paydays just in case something terrible occured. They do hire felons and it is a known fact there is at least one sex offender working there. The smell of pot was almost a constant in the parking lot no matter what time of day it was. People were high all the time. The company only drug tests as part of the hiring process and never again. You get what you pay for in the types of employees you see and those that you actively recruit. Agents typically make $9.00 or so per hour. Constant turnover because people get better paying jobs in more organized and professionally run organizations.

Not a working water fountain in the building. Two bathrooms for thousands of employees. Elevators have signs saying they are not for passengers. Freezing cold temperatures force you to wear winter clothes no matter what season. Agents have to wear winter coats, gloves, hats, etc. all year just to function. People use cell phones on the call center floor to steal customers' personal information despite the company taking measures to prohibit all cell phones.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get it together! You are clueless. Step away from your Excel spreadsheets and take a look at what is really happening there.

  7.

I have been working at Teleperformance

    Pros

The only positive comments I can make are that it is a full time job and the coworkers are great.

    Cons

Starting at the beginning, teleperformance bought out aegis recently. Upon purchasing the business, they have completely stripped all your rights away. No cell phones in the building, no lunches, no umbrella if it's raining. Parking is in a baseball stadium field because they don't have enough parking for employees. However, the parking lot is divided with other businesses, and improper parking (some banned spaces are significantly closer to the building than other non-banned spaces.) Will result in your vehicle being towed at your expense. Expect that if you have a slightly later schedule, like 10am, you'll have a ten minute walk after parking.
Next, they have guards posted at every door, not for employee protection, but to ensure you don't sneak in anything, like a candy bar or cellphone (tampons are even banned.) They do provide lockers! In another, seperate building altogether. Guards are equipped with metal detector rods, and soon will be accompanied by actual metal detectors as well.
Next, the company took over in December, changed everything over from Aegis to Teleperformance. However, after changing all of the rules, they have failed to produce a new employee handbook, and instead are supplying new employees with aegis books and regulations.
They often get paychecks wrong, and have even failed to pay employees on payday, requiring an investigation before providing pay.
Benefits that were recently used to attract new job seekers via news programs (gas cards) have been pulled, and promised pay rate raises were scraped.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees like employees, not inmates.

    Pros

    Steady uninteresting job
Some attempt to make the workplace festive

    Cons

    1. Promotion based on favouritsim
    2. Training was a joke
    3. Trainers in the Bristol TN area issues little notes on your file based purely on personal bias and are not grounded in fact.
    4. Not veteran friendly
    5. Supervisors have their picks that spy on everyone else on the team

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of your trainers and hire people that can train professionally
Promote based on performance and not on recommendation

    I worked at Teleperformance

    Pros

    NONE
By far the worst company I have ever worked, and I have worked at some bad places

    Cons

I could write a novel on all the cons, but here is a summary:
    No leadership
    Completely disorganized and chaotic
    Poor communication
    Micromanagement
    Disrespect by arrogant management
Idiotic management team with no ethics and no clue on how to properly treat and compensate employees
Company is hypocritical in the fact that they do not uphold their core values of Respect, Integrity, & Professionalism
Horrible benefits: insurance is a joke (I never saw the plan and costs in writing) but I was told that it barely meets Obamacare standards and it's super expensive
Pay was horrible, I should have been making at least double per hour for all the BS I had to put up with

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

No advice, they should all be fired. They are a disgrace to the human race. They retain and promote the morons with no ethics, and the superstars (that would be ME) leave!

    Pros

Paid training starting at $10 until you get you pass the P&C exam and then you make $15 an hour

Opportunity given at various times to work over time if you need extra hours

    Cons

Lack of training, lack of supervisors or help on the floor, they expect you to learn as you go or by trial and error but it counts against you if you screw up, they have horrible benefits and they don't have a good selection of hours to choose from for your schedule

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve the training curriculum, include the billing section in the training
