Pros – Same as above where I enjoy the people I get to work with; Tellabs has great benefits; The work load is challenging which provides great experiences

Cons – Tellabs has undergone restructuring, which at times has made the work load overwhelming, but all-in-all, I enjoy my job.

Advice to Senior Management – Provide clarity to the future for Tellabs and how we can improve or get ahead with multiple competitors in the industry.

Pros – Nice environment, friendly team, no micro management

Good salary, good benefit, award recognition

Cons – A lot of work, extra outside working is expected weekly

Pros – My coworkers were like family to me. Very friendly and happy to work together. Everyone had that "I have your back" attitude for the most part. I really miss working there. The benefits package was very generous. While slow at times, I preferred the planning process and implementation tactics compared to other places I've worked.

Cons – When the economy fell apart of course morale decreased. This was very difficult and the company did all it could to keep as many employees as possible as well as keep stockholders happy.

Cons – Company with headquaters in Naperville might not fully understand the bay area culture and support the employees to the full extent.

Pros – Good Benefits, good culture. Some very good people work at Tellabs. I had hoped to work for this company for many years.

Cons – I was laid off, Tellabs moved almost all manufacturing to contract houses.

Advice to Senior Management – Develop middle management talent with character. The trend these days is to promote the worst characters, this is the most demoralizing thing you can do to your workfoce
