    Pros

Good co-workers and decent fringe benefits.

    Cons

Depends on who your manager is. If you've got a bad one (which all but 1-2 are) then you're screwed.

    Advice to Management

Don't hire people you don't trust. Let people do their jobs and quit trackin them and micro managing them. If you don't trust them fire them or don't hire them initially.

    Pros

There are a lot of really good well meaning people who work for Tempur. The products are something to be proud of when talking to people outside the company about where you work. Great facilities to work in with the cafe and workout facility.

    Cons

Lack of appreciation for facts in my department. There is a narrative that has been going for about two years regarding our performance that is not tied to reality. Any deviation from that is a no-no. There are a lot of behind that back power plays that happen in this company that really contribute to a watch your back mentality and lack of trustworthiness in middle management.

    Pros

Great working environment. The building is state of the art, with a Starbucks and cafe onsite. The workout facility and common areas are nice, open, and well maintained. Beautiful building, and very nice people to work with.

    Cons

Senior executives have a tendency to rule by fear. Intimidation, and some ruthless politics are employed to grab power and position in the newly merged company. If you are working at the executive level, wear Kevlar. Very unfortunate sub-culture in an otherwise great organization.

    Advice to Management

The top HR officer should do exit interviews with employees who are released under bizarre circumstances and who have otherwise been stellar employees.

    Pros

No real supervisory leadership to speak of in certain departments. Ability to work on your own pace and skill level

    Cons

No real supervisory leadership to speak of in certain departments. The training program is non existent, safety is like a watchdog with no teeth

    Advice to Management

Give everyone from management on down a drug test. You will never change what you tolerate. If you say you are going to do something - do it!

    Pros

A company on the verge of major growth and expansion.

    Cons

Improvements needed in every department- mostly due to the fact that company is growing so rapidly.

    Advice to Management

Salaries for territory representatives should be higher to be competitive. Bonuses as well.

    Pros

"Good" people on the team, laid back atmosphere, family oriented company. Teams work well together in terms of day-to-day interaction.

    Cons

Employees are not well supported with resources, disorganized processes, leadership is lacking on all levels of management. Communication is an issue.

    Advice to Management

For a company who prides themselves in innovation, resources are not allocated properly and management is disorganized. The product process needs an overhaul.
