I worked at Tenaris as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Training programs had somewhat good reviews

    Cons

Didn't get my access to begin my projects until my sixth week and had 2 weeks to complete. Dealt constant hurdles with IT/Permissions to access files. Had to call daily for grant of access of software from IT in Argentina, and Interns were on a low priority basis.

    Cons

If you don't fit in their click you are garbage. No matter what you do it is never good enough. Rules are not applied fairly. HR is a figure head.

Have an open mind. The foreign management listens to American good ole boys.

    TenarisUniversity is a world-class concept.

I worked at Tenaris full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Chance for learning a lot, multinational environment!

    Cons

No real carrier possibilities, and on top of that company personal is using unethical methods in dealing with employees, despite on their own company policy!
Really low payment for the workload is given to employees. I do not reccomend working for this company! The evaluation system is not transparent and totally subjective no matter of your performances, is the image that counts the most and your relations with management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Appreciate much more the employees that perform, give them real carrier possibilities and real coaching. Check your methods in dealing with employees, it seems despite of company policy, you are encouraging HR using unethical methods!
