    Pros

Good pay, laid back, easy going, friendly environment, good benefits. After going through my first performance review I would say the job is not too demanding and the bosses are usually flexible to your requests.

    Cons

Sometimes too laid back. At times I would be pushing people around me to get stuff done and I am fresh out of college with very much less expertise than my team.

    Advice to Management

Very accommodating and has been very reasonable and helpful. Try to push people a little more and keep the team together and on the same page.

    Pros

Good training opportunities, good mentoring from management, best and the brightest workers from Argentina

    Cons

Excel overload, hierarchical management dominated by Argentinian culture, meeting overload, slow to change, all decisions are slightly behind the times

    Advice to Management

Create more collaboration opportunity between groups/ projects can become tunnel visioned and lack innovation.

    Pros

Great pay, long hours, a real atmosphere that fostered advancement as long as the desire was there.I was promoted to three different positions and given raises in the few short months I was there.

    Cons

The company location where I was employed laid off the workers, reassigned the ones with decade+ years working there. The falling price of oil forced them to shut the company down and close the doors.

    Advice to Management

There's no real advice to give to management, other than to be more aware of those like me, who had to file unemployment and have it denied due to them not responding to the claim in time.

    Pros

Very professional, best company on its industry (steel OCTG pipe). Always looking for more, never boring. Helps you keep always looking for the extra step.

    Cons

Too political, growth options are tricky if you dont get a mentor. Tend to be a boring industry. Management does not show appreciation for employees.

    Advice to Management

Management should try to invest more in employees, show some appreciation for everybody, and not only people that have good connections. Career plans are completly lacking.

    Pros

Great pay and benefits, monthly bonus and yearly reviews up to a 15% pay increase per year. Company paid training and certification

    Cons

When the oil industry tanks they drop you like a sack of dirty diapers. Not a lot of room for personal company growth unless you are in tight with upper management

Great training program. Company teaches you fundamentals of tubular industry. Good health insurance benefits. Company is leader in its industry

    Cons

Promotions are political. Argentines get the best options. Difficult to climb ladder if you are not Argentines. Opaque performance approval process. Many managers with poor leadership skills.

    Pros

The people, culture and the products are great. The company is expanding and investing heavily in the United States.

    Cons

Work life balance is tough. Tenaris runs very lean and it can mean working long hours.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people and start focusing on local talent and not bringing in as many Ex-Pats. to fill positions in the United States.
