Great place to work. Growing compandy

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsTenneco is a growing company who has great growth and even in a bad company keeps growing. The benifts are good with retirement and a 401k match which most companies have done away with they continue to match. Good chances to advance and if you come to work every day they treat you well.

ConsSome times long hours with no notice to make plans is a downfall for working with tenneco. Sometimes it is not to be avoided as the customers tend to be difficult to deal with.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep up the good work with the communication with the employees. It goes a long way. You treat them with respect and they will work had and do the right things to keep the company successful.

Tenneco is a great place to work

    Manager (Former Employee)
    Brussels (Belgium)

ProsYou can build your own career path. They also give you the freedom and flexibility to create your own projects you think will add value to the company. You also feel very close with your other co workers - and I always looked forward to going to work. I enjoyed my time there, and would reccomend working there to anyone.

ConsThey don't pay that well, but there are perks such as company cars, cell phones, and other perks. Also, job security is an issue right now with the downsizing of Automotive. The location of the HQ of Europe is in Brussels which is not a very good city in my opinion.

Advice to Senior ManagementSome of the senior managers are very old school....they don't want to change the way they operate even when it's necessary.
