    Pros

    Pay Rate 15/hour +
    10+ hours overtime every week
    401K
    Dental
    Medical
    Stock Purchase plan
Healthy Living benefit program rewards up $300

    Cons

Branch management was incoherent at times. Always pushing bottom line sales, even after monthly set goals were met.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees correctly and they will reward you 10-fold, but only if you are willing to listen to them, all while showing them dignity, and humanitarian respect.

I have been working at Terex full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Excellent work/life balance. Pace is not as fast as some other industries (consumer electronics). Company seems to actually care about employees. Corporate culture is pretty laid back. Management seems pretty open about state of the company and willing to share information. Good 401k match, Health benefits are decent.

    Cons

You won't get rich working there. Bonuses are pretty weak. Sick time/Vacation time are same thing? Don't expect to work on the highest of the high-tech.

    Pros

Great coworkers, decent benefits, and great training opportunities.

    Cons

Managers dont follow what they preach, they dont like change, there is a lot of favoritism. Although it is advertised as 4/10 you often work fridays. Pay is what the industry standard is. If youre a minority, the odds are against you for progress in the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat others how you would like tk be treated. Something their parents forgot to teach them

    Pros

Enjoyed learning about international business and working with people from around the world, as well as a great internal professional community

    Cons

Changes in the economy lead to ramp ups and slow downs that can be difficult to manage. A more streamlined HR system would make it easier to be a plant HR leader. Too much time spent in administrative work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider using the AWP model of shared HR services for all segments.

I have been working at Terex

    Pros

Pay and benefits are the reason to work here. The work is generally simple and not challenging, but at this time in my life i'm not looking for challenging work. Iw ant good pay and benefits and time with my family. Terex is a good place to work if that's what's important to you. here is room for Growth too, if you work hard and are interested in that kind of thing.

    Cons

See above. There isn't a challenge in the work that I do, which can sometimes cause me to be a little disengaged. Also, this is one of the smaller companies in this industry, and it's not always great to be the underdog.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to find more ways to compete with the big boys out there. It will make for a stronger future.
