    Pros

Amazing coworkers make this job worth it. The music is upbeat. Unfortunately there are more negative aspects to this job/company than positive.

    Cons

Negative communications to store management team daily. Out of reach expectations. Minimum pay across the board. Company is cutting back to benefit CEO. Horrible cheap customers who yell at you daily. You're shocked when someone is nice to you. A list a mile long making sure you always have at least 5 things going on at the same time.

    Advice to Management

Pay to keep employees who care. Good employees will leave when treatment is so bad. Company ethics need to be looked at. More concerned about their appearance then making changes. If they are so concerned about things that happen where their clothes are made they should spend the effort and change despite it might not be the cheapest way.

    Pros

discount, fun customers, always something to do, got to work with a great team

    Cons

No payroll, low hours for employees, poor communication from D.M's.
No room for advancement, employee retention is low due to minimal pay and excessive and constantly changing workload. D.M's ofter use hostile tactics as methods of motivation.

    Advice to Management

Stick with a plan and go with it. Stop hiring from outside the company to fill DM positions, use your SM's that bleed from the eyes to get the job done. Pay employees a livable wage comparable to their expected workload and goals.

    Pros

Being around people and the challenge of turning a store around.

    Cons

There was never payroll to get the job done that was required. You only get payroll when there's going to be a visit from upper management.

    Advice to Management

Don't overwork yourself I found myself in my store day in and day out trying to look out for the business. I complained about the staff I had as a support system and nothing was ever done it was always they had to follow protocol. But I was terminated when I couldn't take an emergency day because my son who has ADHD was suspended and I brought him to work and allowed him to hang some flip flops with me. Talking about a company who doesn't support their management staff.

    Pros

PTO is great. There are no other pros to working for this company. Pay is good but traps you from leaving.

    Cons

Workload is unrealistic with the amount of payroll given. Systems and technology are outdated. No training hours given leads to high turnover. Policies are made to be enforced until a customer complains then corporate backs customer and we get a complaint for being unwilling to help. Too many price changes and updates. It's too much work and confusing to customers. Emails and store window marketing are misleading and staff gets to take the brunt of the angry customers. I could go on but what's the point.

    Advice to Management

Reevaluate what's important. Better pay, training and more payroll would go a long way. Payroll is the key! More payroll equals happier staff. Even your sales associates are burnt out. Every year you cut payroll and add to the workload. Enough is enough.

    Pros

No good reasons to work for this company at all to be honest.

    Cons

Very little pay, not enough hours, they expect the managers to do everything, upper management focuses way too much on what you don't do rather than balancing out what's good and what's not working, store managers are involved with the gossip way too much and have favoritism. Floor set is always changing, price points drop basically a penny less and they expect you to hard-mark, merchandise and sign the entire store with the limited amount of hours they provide you with. Definitely no growth opportunities with this company.

    Advice to Management

Hire some decent managers and then you will see a successful store

    Pros

    Friendly employees
Management is helpful for the most pat

    Cons

The Call-In schedule is THE worst unless you want to be overworked an insane amount of hours for a so-called part-time job. The managers like to give me a sob story to get me to come in for my on-call. If you want a part-time job with a set schedule and only want to work a few days a week for a few hours, this job is NOT for you.

-No official training-- I had to make lots of mistakes to learn what I was doing since I was completely new to retail.
-A lot of stuff to remember.
    -The dress code is dumb.
-The pay is awful, there was no negotiation above minimum wage. They didn't even ask like most places ask even if they can't/won't comply.
-Too much work for minimum wage.
-Favoritism over who gets to work the cash register. At my store they always put the lazier people at the cash register (which is unfair because it's easier than cleaning the entire store.)
    -Place Cards--nobody wants them!!

    Advice to Management

Eliminate the Call-In schedule and give everyone set schedules every week and have only a few people as backups if anyone calls out last minute or if the store gets really busy.

    Pros

No pros exist from working here

    Cons

Horrible experience. Never trained and would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Over 4 years in the retail industry and this is hands down the worst company I've worked for. There is hardly any employee appreciation whatsoever. No respect or trust from the store manager. Nobody knew what they were doing in the store I worked out because there was no training involved. The employee discount was something customers could get the coupons. No benefits from this company and biggest waste of me time. I learned absolutely nothing working here.

    Cons

Mangers were rude did not want to help me learn how to do anything. It was my first job. They were nasty to me I quit after 1 week
