    Unfair company to work for

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThe employee discount is good. There are some decent co workers. Most of the customers are decent. Floorsets are fairly easy to complete.

ConsAssociates are NEVER allowed to take breaks whether it be 15 minutes or 30 minutes. Associates are expected to train upper management when unqualified management is hired.

Advice to Senior ManagementAssociates are entitled to a 15 minute break. PLEASE hire qualified management.

Needs a consistent structure and updated processes

    Sourcing (Current Employee) Secaucus, NJ

ProsAmazing benefits such as pay, reimbursements, vacation days etc.

ConsThe location is inconvenient for a lot of people, especially for commuters using mass transit. You'll be tired of the commute very quickly. As for the work, you need to go through multiple channels to get anything approved and systems are outdated as well. Structure is constantly changing and organization/motivation often takes a back seat to the amount of work

Advice to Senior ManagementPay more attention to your employees. They put in a lot of hard work and long hours but when they're getting no recognition it's hard to care about the work

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

I was heavily recruited to manage a profitable store ~ Then laid off along with several other profitable stores???

General Manager (Former Employee) Concord, CA

Prosgreat discount if you have kids

Consno training hours are given when you hire new associates or management. Your just expected to catch on quick, and be held accountable. I have a hard time with this as people are my passion. I want to see other succeed and know I as their leader have given them all the tools necessary!

Advice to Senior ManagementPut more money upfront on training and developing and you will become RICH with fantastic people that are committed to you and your company ~ in the long run it saves the company more $$!!

    Mixed reviews

General Manager (Current Employee) Ontario, CA

ProsGood pay. Great vacation and sick time for FT. Decent benefits. Some great leaders.

ConsIt is very challenging. I had the best DM and Regional I've ever worked. I also had a new inexperienced DM who did not help and support and really didn't know what they were doing. Payroll is non-existent. Workload is insanely high. No training even at management level.

Advice to Senior ManagementInvest in your people.

If you value your family...run, now!

    Store Manager (Former Employee)

ProsGood benefits, PTO (though you won't be able to use it all), made great friendships

ConsThe work-load is ridiculous. The mandatory holidays and weekends kill any hope for family time. The company is very re-active to business trends and that means last minute notice on events, sales, promotions, ect.- this equates to long nights and unforeseen times that a store manager is required to work. My family suffered silently for years, until the damage was done and I was left with no social life and no husband.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
