    Pros

fun environment Great discount cute fashions able to "own" your own business. Able to make decisions that fit your store the best. As long as you can back it up with great business reasons

    Cons

Hard to schedule with constant last minute changes. hard to move up from a store manager Product tends to be repeated each season

    Pros

Love working with children, great company to learn basics of all aspects of retail (customer service, shipment/processing, brand-guiding), good for those who like to keep busy

    Cons

Poor management both from corporate and in-store management, inconsistent communication, unequal explicit favoritism between staff members

    Advice to Management

Management expectations should be consistent across all SLT's (SM, ASM, & Leads), brand guiding is difficult per store - needs revision or addition of new floor plans

    Pros

great discount, colorful advertisement, fun visuals, fun product and environment

    Cons

you haven to get customers to open up a company credit card, high theft, always couponing the customer to death, so your always giving out discounts & it makes it hard for you to meet sales goals.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Had fun w/the girls I worked with. Easy to advance to a manager position. ( know your stuff and work hard)

    Cons

High turn over rate ( hire too many young people who don't feel like coming to work). Floor set/moves are too frequent. Not enough payroll to properly staff. Not enough hours so inevitably good, hard working people quit. They hire Assistant store manager and store manager based on whose been there longer and get it wrong. I worked in 3 different locations and was horrified at who would get promoted. Its too bad because they miss out on some really talented, well deserved, hard working people.

    Advice to Management

Stop sitting out back 'writing emails' and step up and be a good manager. ( been to 3 stores and the managers are lazy)

    Cons

Tough atmosphere at the end. District and regional managers left the company frequently. There was considerable pressure to make sales plan

    Pros

Can't beat the vacation time and summer fridays. 21-22 days Paid time off, Unlimited Sick Days, Summer Fridays. they are flexible if you need time to handle personal stuff. Associate level and above are eligible for bonus

    Cons

None of the systems are efficient. Horrible work/life balance in sourcing area. High top management turnover leading to constant reorganization. Work is not evenly distributed among the headcount. If you're not built to work long hours all the time, then this place is not for you

    Advice to Management

Take the time to get to know your team. Upper management should be more accessible.
