    Pros

Great working environment, detailed training and something different daily.

    Cons

Had to do internet market internally (which is very time consuming), long days with mandatory weekend work, lots of "secret shopping" to ensure adherence to strict scripting.

    Advice to Management

Pay close attention to where you place people so that you challenge their individual strengths.

    Pros

    Decent pay. GREAT insurance benefits!

    Cons

Company showers you in expensive gifts to make it harder to notice when they crap on you. Property managers show favoritism to whoever they are screwing that week. Maintenance is treated like crap as well as office staff. Property managers treat entire team like they are worthless minions. Micromanagement is a horrible problem and management is incredibly rude.

    Advice to Management

No one likes to be micromanaged. If you were nicer to tenants, they might want to renew leases. When you cant keep employees for longer than 2 months, this should tell you something about your management skills. "Attitude reflects leadership"

    Pros

They have great health care, 401K, and vacation time. Its always a new adventure everyday. Lots of room to grow with the company if your willing to work for it.

    Cons

It can be stressful at times like most jobs.

    Advice to Management

Talk to people how you would expect to be spoken too.

    Pros

Overall the company has great benefits including vacation, sick/personal time, 401K, reward and recognition and compensation. I really enjoy the challenges the company presents. I am always recognized when I overachieve any goals given. I really like all of our company events. Its a great way to meet new people and build lasting friendships! I also really like that I get to see my regional manager every week and the CEO of the company comes to visit at least every other month! That shows me that the CEO really cares about his company and the success of his employees!

    Cons

My first few months here were a little rocky. I wasn't trained properly and office staff was either quitting or being fired. Since then I have been re-trained in a timely manner and given all the tools to be very successful at my job. I have also seen the company build their training department really well and this has given a lot of new employees the ability to start strong! I have been offered different opportunities, but unfortunately no follow up, so I am still in the same position as when I started. I really like the job that I have, however, I don't like to stay stagnant professionally. I like the ability to move up in a company.

    Advice to Management

It would be nice for employees to be able to complete a survey of our property manager and/or regional manager to ensure our managers are evaluating their supervising techniques, team building skills, and overall job. My only advice to our regional/upper management would be to recognize our property managers more and they will in return recognize their own employees. I have noticed that if my manager is not recognized for their hard work, they don't recognize their own staff. The domino effect comes from the top down!

    Pros

One of my favorite things about the companies I work for: I actually get to meet the man that started it all. Larry Connor is very involved and there is no greater feeling than shaking hands with the man who created such a successful company. The company is very regulated, numbers based, and systematic. Literally, if you follow "the Connor way", you are set up for success.

    Cons

There are quite a few, however it is not the company. Each region may be ran a little differently. One aspect I wish was a little different was the work-life balance. You are expected a lot of the time to put in extra hours to hit numbers and do not really get compensation for it. Hitting your numbers is of course a huge reward, but you find yourself living at work.

    Advice to Management

I would just say follow the systems a bit more. Larry Connor is very intelligent and he has created a company built for success. One little step in the wrong direction creates disaster, deranging from the core values he has put in place to live by.

    Pros

Everyone is great to work with, their is no " That's not my Job" around here. The Connor Group recognizes and rewards hard work, nothing goes unnoticed.

    Cons

The Connor Group is not a company for everyone. Work long hard hours to get the job done. The Connor Group is very Culture and Values driven company. "Not for Everyone"

    Pros

This company is not your typical office environment. You're challenged daily and encouraged to think outside the box. Reaching your goals and hard work will allow you to succeed and grow here.

    Cons

Managing your work life balance can be difficult if you allow it.
