I have been working at The Goddard School full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I love our management team, the students in our school and the parents are great! Such a wonderful place to work. The curriculum is wonderful, fun, age appropriate and directed towards the students individuality. Teacher's always have a helping hand and management is always there to answer questions, help out and advocate for us!

    Cons

Sometimes scheduling can be all over the place, but overall I cannot think of a con that would fit. More pro's than cons!

    Advice to Management

Thank you for all that you do for your employees, students and families of the school!

    Pros

The Children, they always had my heart and I enjoyed working with them they were more important then anything.

    Cons

Some of the people I worked with, I tried to focus on the children and not care what they had to say.

    Advice to Management

Children were more important then anything.

I worked at The Goddard School part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The children were always a number one priority. Loving and caring environment and we'll rounded curriculum. The owners were wonderful to work for and went above and beyond to show their appreciation from luncheons, to gifts and even gave away a vacation to a teacher every year.

    Cons

    I wish I hadn't moved so i could've remained working there.

    Advice to Management

You're doing a great job. You truly care about your employees which is hard to find these days.

I worked at The Goddard School part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working at The Goddard School during college was perfect. It's an easy job, extremely flexible, interacting with the kids was fun, and the staff members were warm and friendly during my time there.

    Cons

Not even too big of a deal but the set snack schedule is dependent on what is available at the grocery store. If not available (usually fruits not in season) you'd have to adjust and buy something else. It shifts the schedule around.

    Advice to Management

I have nothing to say. Management ran well and was understanding with regards to school, course work, studying I needed to do, and any extra circulars activities.

I worked at The Goddard School full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They allow you to create your own curriculum, based on monthly themes, and co-lead teachers share this responsibility. If you are short on ideas or time, there are resources from prior years to go to for ideas. They give you time outside of the classroom to plan lessons.

    Cons

Really none, the school is very well managed overall.

I have been working at The Goddard School full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

In an environment that naturally lends to many different teaching styles, ideals, and personal philosophies, everything comes together under this one roof like a well oiled machine- all of the teachers and staff interact well, and are always there to support one another, often challenging and encouraging each other to go above and beyond the call of duty!

    Cons

As in working in any school environment where you come to feel like family and grow attached to "your" children, it is often personally dificult to ask for time off, though they are great about granting your requests.

    Advice to Management

All teachers know that there is so much more involved than simply the basic classroom duties, so more time to complete planning or conduct other administrative duties would be appreciated.

I have been working at The Goddard School part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The absolute best reason to work at Goddard is going to work without feeling like your going to work, its just professional fun.

    Cons

The biggest con is dealing with the really stressful days that come from working with young children.

    Advice to Management

Make sure that all children are in classes approiate for their age as well as the developmental state.
