    Pros

    It's an easy job to get when your desperate. Because they are franchises hiring is done buy the owners who often work there themselves because UPS squealed their profit margins.

    Cons

    They don't pay well because they don't make much money. They stores are exploited by UPS so they exploit their employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    If all the store owners, stood together and challenged UPS instead of undercutting each other they might actually service and become great places to work. If you don't act fast UPS will find a way to automate your function and push you out of business.

    Pros

    If you promote, think outside the box, market , find your niche you can make this work

    Cons

    UPS and the UPS Store management act like sharks surrounding a bleeding store owner, waiting to feed off of your hard work, they never market the brand, plus UPS will steal your own customers by offering discounts that you cannot match
