I have been working at Three full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

The people, the location, the culture, the pay and benefits, the development opportunities, the flexibility

    Cons

Although it's also noted as a positive, the pace and level of change can sometimes be difficult to keep up with.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Share as much information as openly and honestly as you can, and take on board, and respond to, as much constructive feedback as possible. Not every suggestion can be used but an explanation of why not is always a good thing.

I have been working at Three as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

I joined Three in July this year and I feel supported, cared for and fairly rewarded. The workload is manageable - a huge pro for me coming from a pretty hectic outsourcing background - and this is reflected throughout the office, no-one ever looks stressed! Three is a progressive, innovative company that really cares for its staff and customers alike.

    Cons

    I've yet to find any.

I have been working at Three full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Three is a refreshing and communicative culture. Everyone treats each other with respect and you know you are always able to constructively challenge the way in which we do things.
Dave Dyson, Three's CEO, regularly holds 'open bar sessions' with us to update us on how the company is progressing and what our priorities are. He always focusses on people as his main priority and believes that the companies success will follow as a result of excellent employee engagement.
I have worked for different companies, with different values and different cultures - Three is by far the best I have experienced.

    Cons

Three is still a fairly new company - so sometimes we are learning on the go. If you feel the need to have a process to work to all of the time, Three wouldn't be the place for you. We learn on the go.

I have been working at Three full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great and comfortable environment to work in.
Regular business updates given to all employees, in either monthly visits from senior management and quarterly roadshows with Dave Dyson.
Senior Management do seem to care about employees from all locations, not just those in the head office in Maidenhead.
Great benefits, most of which will be useful for a lot of employees (e.g. free phone and dongle contracts with decent allowances on them, chance to buy top of the line handsets with a decent discount etc).
Good opportunity to develop, with courses on variety of subjects.
Recognition is given to those who deserve it.

    Cons

Can't think of anything off the top of my head, most cons I can think of end up having are something I can discuss with my Manager who will look into improving it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing as you are. I've been lucky to join 3 just as the brand became more memorable to the public with the great tariffs and recent marketing plans, which made me more excited to tell people I work for Three.

I have been working at Three full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Great culture, really care about employees and performance is not all objective based but also based on how you went about things. People are encouraged to challenge others at any level (in the right way). Great working environment and great atmosphere, the people help make it what it is. Career progression if you are driven, I'm living proof. Benefits package is pretty competitive. Offer training to help you continue developing in your role. I joined to expand on my skills and move on, but have continued learning and developing throughout my time here.

    Cons

Fast pace of change at times and reacting to the market direction can change quickly at any point, but it does keep things interesting.

I have been working at Three full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I've worked for Three for just over a year and have already been given more responsibility in a secondment. It's great to be given the opportunity to broaden my skill set and subsequently progress my career at Three.

The salary and benefits are in line with, if not slightly better than market rate in my opinion.

The culture here is very relaxed and informal. Most people are approachable and friendly and open communication/collaboration is encouraged. There are often social events in the café and around the building such as barbecues, quizzes, bake sales, raffles and "open bar". There are also regular face to face updates from the Senior Management Team regarding the company's progress, upcoming launches and achievements. Three acknowledge that they are only as good as their people and this is evident in the culture that has been created.

    Cons

The only con I can think of is that as Three are still a young company and are still evolving when it comes to process and direction, there can sometimes be " ambiguity" when it comes to decision making and getting things done. You have to be the type of person that can see the bigger picture and be adaptable to change, if you want to be successful at Three.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you're doing and stay close to your people, it is appreciated and is a huge motivation towards getting staff behind the company and brand.

I have been working at Three full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I joined the company 3 years ago and I have made so many friends since starting here. The company has a really relaxed yet professional environment, everyday is a laugh but we get the job done. There is always activities ran by Three in the office, charity fundraisers, retail stores, game days, dress up days to make it a fun place to work in.

We are encouraged to live by the company behaviours every day which comes very naturally to you and we are encouraged to be open and honest, keep your word and taking responsibility in your role everyday.

The benefits are really good, twice annually we get an opportunity to increase holidays, purchase mobile at discount price and amend any lifestyle choices like pension/life assurance etc.

    Cons

The challenges can be keeping up with workloads, you will never have a quiet day and things change so quickly in the business which can be hard to keep up with at times. If you like change you will love Three!

I have been working at Three full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

When you work hard, you always get noticed and rewarded. Annual company holidays as part of an incentive and a tight relationship with senior management and head office so you always feel in touch of the bigger picture and have your say with new ideas for the business. Sales associates also get commission for their sales on top of a competitive basic wage. Good opportunities for progression and transferring.

    Cons

Management can do long hours (especially in london i.e. working 8am-9.30pm). And working 6 days a week in major cities. With this in mind, your hours are always clocked and can be given back in lieu.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just keep doing what you are doing. You always listen to our opinions and happily help out with our concerns. Having regularly seen Head Office and directors when I working in London, keep visiting stores and having a laugh with us.
