I have been working at Tiffany & Co. part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Good training, busy environment, some friendly employees, simple dress code . Great cafeteria

    Cons

As a seasonal employee, there were a lot of negative actions from the long term sales staff, not all but there is several people that do not like to have you there, and make it very clear.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The management people on the store are also very unfriendly, there was one lady in special that was truly rude, looking for any excuse to give you a lection

I worked at Tiffany & Co. full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I met some amazing individuals while working here. I have to say my peers were the best part. People were respectful and encouraging. The company is well respected and environmentally sound.

    Cons

Promotions are hard to come by and so is training unless you're a manager. The office environment can be quite toxic depending on who you work for. The work life balance is informally established by your boss so it can vary. People who address issues with HR or upper management are hurt in the long run. It's better to just stay quiet or leave.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should be more accessible, transparent and a more cohesive unit.

I worked at Tiffany & Co. full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The benefits and perks were great, as well as the jewelry discounts. The environment was super fast paced which made days go by fast and there is always something interesting going on.

    Cons

With the fast pace nature came a high stress environment. Part of the daily routine is all everyone gossiping and talking about what everyone is wearing, so slightly intimidating if fashion isn't your passion. A few management positions were just impossible to please.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A little recognition would go a long way
